Shock Games through the Looking Glass
As long gamers have a choice on which system they can play on, that's the most important thing and also don't just take everything these executives say as the final word, always look at the bigger picture and how your choices will affect you long term, big businesses capitalizes on impulse buyers and love to hype things up long before their even relevant, they invest big and choose their words very carefully in their marketing.
The One thing we can say about EA is at least their being consistent /S, the thing is that they're such a big business that they're past the point of ever failing, there's no one to put them in their place, I've gone from loving the Electronic Arts brand to wishing they never existed.
I really do miss my psx slim, such a cool little console, the true and original playstation slim console.
Why does Sony deserve a 2nd $400 check for promoting selling the exact same (stable 30 fps)performance then they did the 1st time around ? , except for the gpu its the exact same system built with the same components but at a cheaper cost then what they were in 2012.
I'm a triss guy myself, but yennefer's design is done extremely well, she's just so real and familiar looking.
I think in general publishers already think games are cheap, that's why they try they're luck with mt's,dlc's and season passes by cutting into the base content, also game development budgets are getting more and more out of control, but it doesn't mean we should pick up the tab.
I had a lot more patients back then, not even sure if I'd be able to beat my 9 year old self in donkey kong, but the memories..., something that no non gamer would ever understand, I have no regrets.
Fromsoft is working on one, but I do miss tradition mech games like mechwarrior, heavy gear and starsiege, they're essentially fps shooter but slower paced with a lot of tactical thinking needed.
Would love a post apocalyptic survival game where faction do battle above ground in mechs, while at the same time there are wars being fought underground in subways or huge man made tunnels, also with the option to customize you're mechs and gear, the game can be a persisten...
Maybe Sony are aware of some weird FW exploit that would be possible in conjunction with modding, just a guess
More like Law suit
Competition is always a good thing and its good to se M$(console division) improve both on the consumer loyalty and the business side of things, if they can end strong by the time the scorpio comes out(next gen) it would make for a good gaming documentary story, from the lows of 2013 to the highs of 2017, we will have to see.
So has reality sunken in yet ?, it comes down to what the developers choose to do with the hardware and how long they "choose" optimization will take, more consoles for 3rd party devs to work equals more time added to development equals more delays, these added upgraded consoles only benefit those selling them, while more people wait for the games to be released, this not going to make game development any easier on anyone, we just end up waiting longer for our games that's it...
The demo was great, but the delay announcement is very $#!tty and depressing news, but from what I've seen the games creator takes his job very seriously and takes pride in his work, I have no doubt he will deliver a special kind of "castlevania" game come release.
This is how you do a remaster
It just needs some Rusty Cage
Imo in a lot of cases lifetime console sales even out close to the midpoint of a gen, I feel like people end up buying into other consoles as well, as pricing goes down on consoles and the games library available on them increases, still waiting on this gen's essential/platinum/gold equivalent collection of games, games are/stay expensive where I'm from.
The one that's a JRPG
Deadpool
