If they can bother charging people $70 they can bother releasing physical copies.
Reselling old games and re branding them as a remaster is seen as such because of the amount of effort put into making the game look "improved" vs the price of the normal version of the games that are slightly less good looking but at 1/5 of the "improved" versions price, the review score is understandable, its more about rating the business practice of re branding/re publishing games with as little effort as possible put in, but then also charging full retail.
This HDR/4K tv hype thing is getting really old, should we just stop buying new games and go buy expensive tv's instead so we can wait for all our old games to get "patched" for HDR+4K upscale support to play" Spot The Difference".

I have no doubt that part of the games delay was to cut content for paid dlc, with a game this long in development and then announcing "substantial" paid for dlc months before release and then a delay, so how long have they been working on this "dlc" and when will it be out ?, they can peddle their BS somewhere else, just like capcom they've shown that the real talent who worked on the their established franchises left long ago.

It "adds" to the fictional world of Rapture and the motives of its denizens, its called good storytelling, I've never found the story pretentious, forced or invasive in anyway and I wish more games would put more of a spin on unique fictional storytelling by adding real world relate able aspects of the human condition.

I think most gamers are more interested in their games running at 60fps instead of just staring at a low fps 4K one.
Luckily the gaming industry is big and growing even bigger, so I have confidence in them not having to wait too long to find new employment.
