BioshockRM(cash grab) bad example, FF12RM good example, always comes down to effort put in vs project costs over time cutting into expected profit margins, doesn't take too much to differentiate between a good RM and a bad one, just look at the time that was put into the project and you'll have a fairly good idea if its worth it.
Are Epic Games just paying artists to endorse their game engine
.... And where are the REAL bloody proper AAA games developed using UE4 ?
I agree, we play games not real life and I hope more people wise up to the more important aspects of games and what makes them special, still cautiously optimism though, trying to figure out how the robot sex scene is going to play out.
Bbooooob.., um I mean bbraaaaains....
Since the days of playing Penumbra for the first time I knew Frictional would be a success, they've had unique gameplay elements and atmosphere in all they're games, I don't think any of they're games have even been slightly disappointing, IMO they've played a big part in contributed to bringing the horror genre back in popularity into the mainstream market of gaming, there's been a big resurgence in horror games this gen compared to last where the genre was very much ...
They rarely are
... A grizzled heard white dude named douche, just wow
Corenchkin from SS2 when he start to change/become infected while speaking
My favorite game from last gen, with red dead redemption
This game will have you constantly equally loving and hating it, I normally play it with one hand on the mouse and the other giving the game the finger while being completely focused and entranced with the tactical gameplay.
It Could be fun to watch people play and react to it, but it seems like it could get stale quickly, have to wait and see.
I think a lot of us have become immune to the hype train following the whole NMS debacle, if they elevate the game above anything hire then a collectathon or go there stab that or postal worker, then maybe it will get deserved attention, I'm passed pretty looking visuals and millions going into marketing to hype shallow lackluster, unoriginal annual cash ins.
Capcom should start up a stand up comedy act, that statement is quite humorous, I'm sure in the future they'll go exclusively the VR software route with tons of shovelware, their creative well has dried up a long long time ago.
Games just like stories and setting from any form of media are works of fiction(mostly), ID soft aren't secretly trying to recruit for Buelzebub
Abs
Dont do that, I don't want games to turn into season passes
Then the next day they announce the game has gone gold /s
Its not cool when gamers get shafted because of behind closed doors exclusive deals.
70% of gamers who game on consoles use pc's for gaming as well, this guy is a tool for trying to label such a huge group of people.
This is the problem with episodic games..., really sad that it had to happen to this game, a really cool and interesting looking game, maybe they can crowd fund the 3rd/final episode to complete it, who knows.
