Sony has returned and the overwhelming hype and excitement for PS4 proves this. Not to mention the success of the Xperia Z smartphone and continued sale of the ps3, along with Sony's increasing share price. Late last year Sony went down to $9 a share and now they are close to the $20 mark after the ps4 meeting and recent restructuring at Sony. And are now labeled a buy I believe. So congrats to kaz, he's doing a remarkable job as CEO in very little time.
PS3 is simply better. Ever since 1995 with the first ps console, Sony has always excelled in gaming. And ps4 will continue that trend unquestionably. Nintendo, sega and Microsoft have never been able to dominate on the same level. Don't get me wrong, I love sega and Nintendo dearly, but Sony has always taken gaming further then anyone else.
PS1 = 109 mil sold
Ps2 = 150 mil sold
Ps3 = 78 mil sold and counting
Psp & ps vita = approx 90 mil sold ...
The only problem I see is that Nintendo tried to beat Sony and Microsoft to market, just like Microsoft did back in 05 against Sony. Except instead of faulty hardware, the games weren't ready to go yet, leaving a console on store shelves as it waits for some badly needed software. Plus of course the name of the console isn't helping either. But hopefully things will begin to correct themselves in the coming months as we get closer to e3 and beyond.

If you love great games, yes, yes you should buy it. I'm not a big fps fan myself but bs is an exception. Although if you can't afford it at the moment, I'm sure amazon will have a sale on it soon. They always do. Far cry 3 is already $30 when it was $60 just in November brand new for example.
I miss the ps2 and GameCube naruto games. The ps2 games had a crazy amount of unlockables. Although I did love the first naruto storm game tho. Might pick it up again soon :D

Don't really know why ppl seem surprised about this. Nintendo hasn't had stellar 3rd party support since the snes days. Although the GameCube did have decent 3rd party support during its life. I'm really hoping the wiiu can at least match the GameCube as it was on of my fav systems ever.
I'm very excited for BF4 after that 17min video last week. If that's gunna be a launch game on ps4 this holiday season with those quality graphics from that trailer, holy crap Sony is in for possibly the greatest console launch in history. Along with of course knack, infamous second son, killzone, watch dogs etc.

This is only one game, wait till the big guns start coming out in the fall. I know we're getting wind waked hd but it would be nice if Nintendo made hd version of other GameCube games like Mario sunshine hd and metroid prime hd also. I'm sure hd remakes of other GameCube games would be a big hit since those were some of the best games of that gen.
Ps4 and wiiu yes. 720 who knows.

This is really ridiculous. Hayter has been snake (big boss in MGS 3) of 15 years now! It would be like changing Homer Simpsons voice or stewey griffin's voice. Famous characters that lose their famous voices just aren't the same anymore. I'm a die hard metal gear fan and snakes voice makes much of the game, regardless what other ppl say. It may look and play like an MSG game but its NOT going to feel like MGS now without hayter.
Not if sega and Sony make a deal that would result in Sony funding the development and having it on ps4 exclusively, similar to what Nintendo did with bayonetta 2. Plus yu Suzuki even asked ppl last week about kickstarter funding the project. So I say the possiblity of Shenmue 3 coming is very good.
So no, it will not get cancelled as long as Sony is behind it helping out. It'll just turn into another of Sony's long line of strong exclusive ips.
Amen to that brother. It's time for jrpgs, platformers and other great genres to come back and flourish like they did before this gen.
I think Sony has captured the ps2's spirit this time with the ps4. I remember all the hype and excitement back then in 2000 and I'm getting that same vibe now with ps4, I didn't feel it with ps3 tho. But ps4 deff feels like the second coming of ps2.

No wonder all the devs are going gaga for ps4, they probably know the route Microsoft is going and want no part of it.
Games on iPad and other mobile devices will never replace game consoles. No true gamer would say, "wow I'm totally selling my ps3 360 and wii today and going to go buy a tiny mobile device and play a simple $10 game and a crappy add on controller ASAP!!!!"
The experience is far too limiting and unfulfilling. Nothing more than a quick 10, 20 min bus ride or lunch break activity. Simple as that.
