That is nothing like it used to be. I don't think it will bring back any nostalgia memories of when I played that game back in the days. I'm not saying that it's a bad game. But I wouldn't call it The bard's tale.
I don't get that "Most powerful console in history" thing from Microsoft. Every new generation of consoles brings the most powerful consoles in history. The same way the next generation of consoles will be the "most powerful consoles in history" and so on...
It's not the XBOX the problem, it's Microsoft.
They try to control everything with $$ and they believe we are too stupid to realise it.
They did the same thing with Windows 8, removing the start menu and trying to make you believe it was a great idea...
Even creating a shortcut on your desktop is complicated now!
The hype for Dawnguard is gone. We already know everything about the game. The reviews have been out for a while now, and we can find walkthrough's and tutorials everywhere on the net, it's already an old game.
I'm putting my PS3 aside for a while, now that Guild Wars 2 is coming out! So I won't be getting Dawnguard anythime soon, if ever...

I love this franchise because it's the best rich world single player RPG out there. If they make an MMO out of it, it will be a complete different experience. If it's like the other mmorpg out there, I will be forced to group with people to complete quests and get decent gear. (I know that's the point of MMO,s, and that's also why I hate it...) I have to agree with the article! I had my share of frustrations while navigating Skyrim's UI.
There's one thing I haven't figured out yet:
Let's say your are reading a book in your inventory,
how to select/read another book in your inventory without quitting the menu's completely and then come back and select another book? When I click on a different book, it keeps opening the same one I was reading. Anyone?

But I have to admit, it was a very good game while it lasted!
This game was too short. Just as it gets interesting the game ends. You don't even get to fight a boss or something, I was saving my BFG ammunitions for the final fight and nothing. There was no fight, just a bunch of crazy mutants running at you, nothing my shotgun couldn't handle...It was very disappointing. Way too short, unfinished game, no ending.

They look pretty good on both consoles.
Some screens are better on the PS3 and others on the XBOX.
Would be nice to see the PC version in the comparison as well...
I think that the PS3 offers a better, more reliable Hardware than the Xbox. The product is also more complete (out of the box).
There's a reason why it's more expensive.
I am not surprised. Most of people I know already played all those games on console. Don't see the point of buying them again on PC. Unless you never owned a Playstation.
