The math i specified is in case the ps3 sells x 8 times as much, and the 360 sells zero units each year.
Then Sony would catch up in a year, but the 360 obviously wont sell 0 units a year, with its current 360 sales, it would still take sony 2 years to catch up on the 360 if they sell 8 x as much ps3's as they do now.
If sony starts selling twice as much ps3's a year as they do now, it will still take them 4 years to catch up.
Which means that Sony will have to sell 4 x as much units as now to catch up in 2 years, and 8 x as much units to catch up in one year....
I dont think one pricedrop can pull that off.......
