This is not a hack. The 3DS is fully backwards compatible with the DS. Since the r4 mimics a DS cart it will play on the 3DS.
No 3DS systems nor games are being 'hacked' here.
They've already said that games will be available on memory cards (similar to DS games)
If it has a proper video out for games and movies than upto 350 seems fair...basically a portable console to take on vacations/cottage/hotels etc. (Assuming I can use DS3 to control it as that is a go feature already)
This isn't a Nintendo game...it is Ubisoft and will be available on X/PS3 and Wii

It isn't 'very difficult' to play KZ3 with it. It is 'very difficult' to get used to a new input device...once you do it is 'very awesome' to play KZ3 with it.

The 'true' numbers come from the manufacturers quarterly/annual reports. NPD, though many many more times reliable than made up vagchartzz, is still just an extrapolation of sales based on a limited (though large) subset of measurements. NPD also doesn't cover world wide sales...another thing that waiting for the manufacturers allows us to compare.
