Ocarina of time was revolutionary in every sense. From the scope and scale of the adventure, to the ways the controls were implemented into a 3D environment, from cinematics and sound design, to it's universal appeal and accessibility. It was sublime.
Redemption is arguably the current peak in the evolution of open world games, not revolutionary. We all know how immersive you can make an in game world thanks to already existing titles such as horizon zero dawn... So wha...
The chain chomp character from mario 64 is more scary.
I don't know why Nintendo owned rare but didn't have the foresight to get full ownership of some of their most memorable titles, such as banjo and Goldeneye.
If they can't get banjo for smash Bros, there is no hope for it's inclusion in a possible N64 mini.
Smash Bros ultimate is little more than a special edition of the Wii u smash Bros.
Nintendo are getting lazy
*looks at switch section of n4g... Smash Bros port.. Mario bros wii u port... random articles about playstation games and other non switch related news..*
really, where is all the switch news?
The switch has died such a miserable death, there has been no exciting news or anything in the pipeline for months. The console has lost all momentum and grinded to a halt.
What the hell is happening over at Nintendo? They always do this gen after gen
It was the first UFC fighters I have followed, from all the promotions, press conferences and fight itself.
What a racist and corrupt mess this 'sport' is.
McGregor conducted himself in a disgraceful manner, all the while White laughing and grinning with his antics. Even approving of it, by joining him in a drink of whiskey, at a press conference. Racial, religious and personal insults which go far beyond sprouting taunts. Actual physical attacks ...
A price cut would be good
Switch has lost momentum already. I don't care about sales, where are the games? E3 just for smash... Ugh
Nothing can save this game, not even good looking puddles
It's not funny
The first person perspective is to gaming what house music (or 4/4 beat) is to music. its popular, accessible and allows lots of freedom within its template...
But its also samey, tired, exhausted and frankly cliche. its the safe option.
to me, instead of being something new and exciting, its 'just another FPS'
Creative expression is not using a cookie cutter perspective used in 90percent of popular games on the market.
Just another run of the mill FPS to me with the obligatory ghost in the shell/Akira/blade runner copy and paste vision of the future

N64 games don't look as bad as PS1 games

n64 games look more solid.
n64 is more powerful than ps1.
Nintendo knew the limits of the technology and created games within those limits.. ie, stylised/cartoony/bold, simple... Sony tried photorealism with 32 bit graphics. so yeah, looks incredibly bad now.
n64 had expandable memory, so games like perfect dark were possible... approaching 128bit standards.
