@Pennywise
When did I say that it is okay to pay for something because the price hasn't changed. I'm adding the point that the price hasn't changed...EVEN THOUGH the service has become exponentially better since launch. Is that spelled out for you better?
If you are going to be THAT guy who calls someone out for mispelling a word atleast be able to pass 5th grade reading comprehension.
And how does XBL being compared with so...
Keep pretending that the ads are some kind of hinderance. Suppose you pay for Playstation the Magazine. Are you outraged because there are still ads in it?
No one is forcing you to like xbl, but to say that PSN is better is rediculous. The same quality...sure, if you want...but not better. Stop being dumb.
I am happily paying for xbl. It's not overpriced and has not increased in price once in 7 YEARS?!?! IT still is integrated better with the 360 has cross game chat. These two reasons don't justify $50 a year, but the amount of friends on XBL and games such as Gears and Halo make the $4.17 a month pretty bearable.

I don't think it comes down to the size of the franchise. You also have to count how the quality and the depth of the story. UC2 has an average story that barely ties in with a sequel. ME3 is the ending of a trilogy with an
amazing story. UC2 is a badass game, but ME3 seems more anticipated.
It doesn't say anything becuase its not the end of the year. Lets put your dumb comment in terms of movies. By your thinking, Hurt Locker 2 is a more anticipated movie than Inception 2 (if they were to make sequels)...just because Hurt Locker 2 has movie of the year awards...???
GTFO
The worst part is the fact that he gets 18 agrees.
@etownone
I see what you did there :)
The Move actually seems to have a smaller marketing push. HAve you seen any advertising at all?
I really haven't.
"Would you kindly" for sure. I probably literally said "Oh Shit"
I own both consoles and I think the PS3 is by far better, but you and I saw the same articles showing the huge differences.
Bottomline: Judging from the completely conflicting articles, we can't tell until the game comes out. Until then, this articles is as reliable as the others.
I will be getting th PS3 version so I do hope its the same.
I agree that it depends on the application. It might be more fun to play with Move with an FPS, but a Mouse and Keyboard seem a lot more practical precision and accuracy wise.
Day 1 purchase either way.
The PS3 was not worht $600 at launch for me (therefore I did not buy it then). The hardware individually may be worth $600 but good hardware with nothing to use it for doesn't justify $600. A minimal BluRay selection and a few good launch titles was not enough.
I bought my PS3 when it dropped to $400 and I have never looked back.
If then we had the PS3 games and BluRay movies that we have now the system would be worth more than $600.
I'm sorry to completely disagree, but no one has forgiven FF13 for being a bad port. Read any comment section on the possibility of FF14 being multiplat and the crappy FF13 360 port example is the first thing anyone brings up.
Evey review or podcast I have read or listened to has pointed out that it IS a bad port but if you only have a 360 then that is no reason not to buy it.
And maybe you have seen some reviews that I have not, but no bad PS3 port r...
Are you joking??? FF13 has been called a bad port since day one, and it is a bad port. That fact is the PS3 has been getting bad ports since release. Don't get pissed at the people noticing it, get pissed at the developers.
The PS3 version is no way an abomination, but you have to think that for a superiror console hardware-wise, we would be seing multiplats that look the exact same if not better on the PS3.
"anyways, the the difference i can see in the 360 version comparesd to the ps3 version is the lighting. the 360 version seems brighter. "
The PS3 version is also missing grass and foliage detail shown in the 360.
3 games in two year is a lot, but remember that Ensemble, a completely seperate team, made Halo Wars.
"To give people the maps they already have all over again is on the verge of sadistic. "
It would be sadistic if that was the only thing it was offering. ITs not like the main selling point of the $60 game was giving you the maps that you already have. To me it was a bonus because I honestly did have the maps included.
I agree that the Halo name sells more copies based on just a name than almost any other series, but that doesn't automatical...
Right now Kinect is not worth it, but to say that is has no potential is ignorant.
You can't base a new system on launch titles because that system hasn't been fully utilized. What is to say that the programming techniques that are similar to the ones used during the life a console to make better looking and performing games cannot be used to improve games for Kinect?
I respect your dislike for Halo, but to compare it to Haze is pretty extreme in my opinion.
Flower was an amazing game, but how is the flower world anything but fake?
So they were off by 9 months when they announced the release date 4 months ago.
That doesn't make any sense to me. Its not like they announced the original release date a year ago...
