Dude I game on PC as well, but you need to chill. The dude only voiced an opinion and said it "looks similar" to the alpha PC version, which no doubt is not true considering we haven't seen the multiplayer PS3 version in motion and still, it wont match its PC counterpart, but making it close proves how masters and hardworking are the guys over at DICE. Besides, many graphical settings are disabled in the PC alpha, and exactly, BC2 is one of the best looking games this generation...

Actually, I've been gaming at 1280x1024 (that's higher than 720p) since the year 2002 when I first bought a PC to game on.
Nowadays, 720p is a joke in PC standards, so no it's not really a high-definition resolution. And once you try a game in complete 1080p glory on HD TVs/monitors, trust me, you wont revert back to the outdated blurry excuse of an HD res, which is 720p.

There is only a single Bad Company on PC which is BC2. And it actually looks amazing in DX11, right. But seriously BF3 even expands on the good graphics BC2 had, with the advanced destruction, the new ANT animation system and the damn lightning man. It still looks a lot better, and that's just alpha footage.
And about CoD, I just tried to play MW2 few minutes ago, and holy shit, I absolutely hate it, you feel like you are floating and not actually walking on the ground, ...
