Knowing that there are developers like IG and ND making games for me is a big relief. They make games that everyone can enjoy. That's why my most anticipated games are R&C:CiT and Uncharted2 :D
Back In Business? As if they were ever out of business with great upcoming titles, constant firmware updates, reliable hardware and overall the best entertainment center anyone can ask. There is so much to look forward for PS3 owners :))
Most demos don't represent the final version of the game. So the PS3 version could have been improved. Regardless both look great.

Check shopto.net: slim is being sold at £229 if you preorder it soon. Some retailers will make some bundles but I can hardly see how you can complain when such hardware is being sold for £250. Heck, even something like ipod nano or touch costs close to £200.
Oh I agree. FPSs are popular aswell on PS3 (and I do own a couple of those you mentioned and do enjoy them), but they aren't that popular as compared to on 360. The preorders of MW2 in 360 and MW2 in PS3 show that. Maybe its just me that ain't that much interested in upcoming FPSs other than MAG...
And I don't know everything when it comes to sales, but I think that there are also games like Uncharted, GT:P, Motorstorm and LBP that did well in terms of sales and are very differen...
I beg to differ. The best vehicle SIM out there (like you said), should offer the best driving experience out there in relation to its competitors (GRID, Forza and NFS). And no other game does it better than GT5 no matter how you spin it. 1000 cars, 80+ tracks, WRC and Nascar licenses just proves that. Either way you look at it GT5 offers damage, while Forza 3 doesn't; regardless if it is done to perfection or not.

I couldn't agree more with you mate. You spot on about the realism. If you guys want a 100% realistic racing sim, many people would become frustrated at how hard it would become to drive such fast cars. You gotta have limits. Thats the same thing as saying in FPS that you should be incapacitated after getting shot once, or that enemies should only take one bullet to kill.
You can't expect them to have 1000 cars with full detail and damage in a very short amount time, hence why GT...
If you want a nice bundle get it now. If not then I think it is safe to say that the Slim beats the Fatty in most aspects (Size, Weight, Power Consumption, Noise...)
You do know that the reason why the PS3 was more expensive was because the console was much more expensive to manufacture back in 2005-2006, reason why it hit the market at high price. With every Sony product, price generally reflects quality. The reason why the price is lower is because Sony LOWERED costs and is no longer losing as much money as it was when PS3 first hit market.

I can't understand when people say that FFXII was fail. To me all the Final Fantasy games are great RPGs (with the exception of X-2 which was just an add-on with Rikku and Yuna I think...). I for one, really liked the idea of having Gambits and added a lot to the combat strategy. To defeat Bosses you had to come with the right Gambits equipped and there was much more strategy added to it. Yeah, the story had very little depth and the characters weren't as great. Still a great title.

Looks great! Although I thought the game was more objective based and he just seems to be going for easy kills. If people start playing like if it was Modern Warfare then this could have some really frustrating matches.
Looks like a great title. Loved SSHD and will pretty sure get this from PSN. I think I speak for all PS3 owners, when I say that I couldn't care less if it is a L4D rip-off. There are so many rip-offs coming out nowadays. Not only will this be cheaper than L4D; after playing SSHD, I can see many people getting addicted to this game, like when I was trying to get the 10x multiplier on SSHD :D
I live in the UK and from word of mouth, I know a lot of people now have been getting the PS3 and more people surely will get the PS3 Slim now. I think the average tech savvy in UK will be aware of the benefits the PS3 offers. What Sony needs to do is be able to show more casual gamers the benefits of purchasing a PS3, and that extra money from a 360 Arcade to a PS3 Slim (now) is worth your while. I believe this is the case pretty much everywhere.
