"What Sony must Learn"
Wait, you think Sony needs to learn that? Who would of known, a system costing less then the games on it would sell like hot cakes. Just imagine if games sold for like $4.99. Go to Amazon.com, buy Mass Effect 3 on launch for $4.99. Yeah it would sell like a Bajjilion copies.
I just want to know the price. Hard to buy something when you dont know the price.
Before every on starts throwing hate on Sony, Remember a very similar situation happened with Apple last year. The whole "left it at a bar". Yeah that went real smooth.
Theres a number of reasons why Sony is doing this:
1. Its not even released or announced, keeping products under wraps is critical for a company when releasing products at certain Quarters. Things like this can and have effect a Company Stock.
2. First impressions...
But im sure the software developers did.
Save money? Previously Sony was losing hundreds on each console made.
Its clear Sony did NOT remove an "Software" to save money.
In fact Sony stated long ago, most profits come from Software sales, Not hardware. Which was also true for Microsoft. So far Nintendo with the Wii was first this gen to release a system that actually made profit off each system sold. It takes years before Sony or Microsoft was able to break even or make profit off Console...

I agree on some points but also disagree with others.
The whole phone situation happened years ago when iphone was previously only to the ATT networks. Geohot who was unheard of at the time was successful on unlocking the iphone to run on other networks. He then pretty much started unlocking phones for people BUT not in exchange for cash but for objects. I remember him getting a car for unlocking a phone. Crazy I know.

Unlocking a phone to work with different Network Providers and hacking a PS3 to allow piracy are Two completely different things.

Actually, this is hilarious. Because Geohot has been trying to change/remove his site to cover his tracks but now Sony can use this Mirrored site for court.
Basically this "professor" keeps evidence available for Sony to use on their lawsuits.

What cracks me up the most, is that releasing all this just further puts Geohot in deeper water. Hes the man who made all the claims. So releasing all of this shows an attack on Sony which can give Sony the grounds to take Geohot to court.
