Unfortunate. I'm ALL for developers / designers / .. protecting their work but the patent system and similar are still flawed. Why? So many things are so general. On top of that, if someone wanted to, they could likely point out close similarities of Luxor to an even earlier product. It would be like saying all zombie movies are copycats of The Night of the Living Dead, in general.
Even Apple sometimes pushes too hard at some things. Remember the clock icon "confusing ...
I feel it will really start to get exploited. In-App purchases will turn into the same huge profit / greed market as XBLM add-ons.

Not the most important news but I feel it is very relevant and important to inform others. As far as the complaints go... Yeah... The WSJ reporting Steve Jobs' health is s-o-o-o relevant? WTF do I care? Stop bothering the guy. His liver is what dictates your iPhone getting a front facing camera. Sheesh!!! I couldn't fit the amount of worthless news in a book. Well... Maybe if I had a lot of books. An encyclopedia of worthless news. Of course, that'd just be for this century. Lastly.. ...

I suppose it would be fine once you got use to it. Searching can be efficient ( in the case of Vista :-D ) but it can also be more time consuming. We'll have to try it.
But what interests me is if Apple would have halted shipments if all of these news sites wouldn't have posted about it and over-excited so many people. Would be funny to know if those who posted about it just kick their own butts. :-D
