The main attraction of the FM series is to Paint your car up and sell it to other people. If you want to Rice get FM. If you want the most realistic physics on a console get GT5.
Jr you are not entirely accurate. I only buy new games. But the reason I am not supporting this kind of business model is that by having a 10$ online pass my game looses value when I want to get rid of it. By having to take 10$ off the top if I sell it to a friend I loose even more then anything. Now if a company dropped the price of a game to 49.99(say for uncharted 3) and then made people pay over the PSN for multiplayer then I would buy it and sell it off for the 30$ I could. I don...
I have already wrote emails to 5 different companies stating due to their Online pass requirement I will not be spending my hard earned cash on their choice to lessen my payment. It sucks but I hope those developers/publishers go out of business due to their greed. The consumer is the one who tells the companies what we will and will not accept with our purchases.
And there will be another 5 unlockable camo for 12.99 week 1 that you can only get threw the DLC.
And there goes another game off my to get list.
Nah Forza vs GT is equivalent to Marvel Vers DC. And if you want to throw Need for speed in that mash it would be Marvel vs DC vs sunday comics.
It shows that companies can get away with charging extra for whats on the disc. It shows that they do not value consumers. I would buy the disc but I am not going to support that kind of business model. They are devaluing my hard earned money by making my friends/2cd hand buyers pay extra.
Get Rid of the online pass and I might consider getting it again.
The more days you login in a row the higher a payout you get all the way to 200% at 5 days straight.
Not going to lie years ago when PS3 first was being sold as a major Blu-ray player, M$ was saying its all about the games and ripping on the PS3. Now all they have is TV service coming out and a few games. How the tides have turned.
FM4 - Ricers paradise?
To bad you do not ever actually own the game, you just pay a 1 time rental fee.
EA is behind every console now due to having so many licensing fees to pay. They can't say no to any potential sales.
The writer fails to mention that a Track Pack, a Car pack, and another surprise are instore for GT5 only on PS3. He wants to know about more cars, well it has already been stated, by Kaz, that more are coming.
@ StifflerK
Not a bad video but not a good example. Yes it shows all three major competitors. but it was recorded with an external camera. If you look about 3:30 you will see that FM3 is extremely washed out compared to FM4. The reason I posted the link I did was because it is a straight video feed. It isn't recorded by another devise thus allowing visual settings to be tampered with.
Edit: it also appears to happen when they do the GT5/FM4 split screen...
This is a better example of GT5 Nurburing.

They didn't do anything with F2010, what makes you think they are going to do anything with 2011?
It isn't really a king when the consumer has to do all the tweaking of the engine. If it released this way then yea it might stand up to Crysis.
Just goes to show full software backwards compatibility is only a patch away. But for the right price.
Glad I have another week to see if they fix this mess otherwise I will just pass on it and wait for it to be on a disc.
