I'd buy GTA V for a third time on a Switch. And would greatly appreciate the inclusion of local wireless multiplayer options.
Not all games will be redownloadable forever. The TMNT series on Xbox 360 was no longer download able after a couple of years. If you never deleted it, then you were good, but if you deleted it, then it was gone forever. The only way to guarantee that you keep your digital titles is to not delete them. Also, the reason no one has maxed out their switch storage yet is because it's only been out for 8 months. See how easy it'll be to max out this time in 2019.
Why?
A great game in 2001 may not be a great game in 2010. You can't just look at the scores from two different time periods and say that Game A is better than Game B because of it's score. Chronicles and X were also very different style of games so its really not a direct comparison.
Personally, I think the Switch is best as an indie platform. The pick up and play nature just makes perfect sense for games that really remind you of the good old days before DLC and micro transactions.
Yep. One price. You get the whole game. No more free updates aside from bug fixes. I'm okay with that.
The thing about jokes is that they're supposed to be funny.
You can't take a video game with an awful story and make a movie out of it.
I trust user reviews more than critical reviews for certain games. Obviously, you have to pick a user that looks like he's not a rabid fanboy, but usually those aren't too hard to spot.
Some people don't have the time to grind. One case of microtransactions that I did appreciate was for Magic the Gathering on PS3/360. You could play through the campaign to unlock all the decks, or you could spend $1 per deck. As a parent and husband, my gaming time is extremely limited, so I spent the $10 (or whatever it was) to quickly unlock all the decks, as I was really only interested in playing others online and not the AI.
I read your first sentence and gave you an up vote. Then I read the rest and had to take it back.
I'm ready to buy GTA V for a third time. Just put it on the Switch.
Previously released or not, most people probably didn't even know a port was happening.
Also a reminder of how terrible I am in Rocket league.
Games just coming out of left field for the Switch.
This is the game the Switch needs.
Did they make you create an Xbox Live account to play online?
I love when people compare the portability of a laptop with that of the Switch. While we're at it, I can just play my PS4 on the go, as long as I bring my system, a power generator, projector, and a controller.
Funny, I wouldn't call graphics the "ultimate sacrifice"
Project Octopath is the next big one that I'm really waiting for. More excited for that than Xenoblade, but I'm definitely picking up Xenoblade.
