The Wii isn't a bad system. My girlfriend enjoys playing New Super Mario Wii on it and the sports games are a fun change up. I'll be interested in seeing how long she remains interested in playing it though. She got it for Christmas so it's still new to her. She's remained interested in me though ... so it looks good for the Wii. =)
Guess that is what a recession does though.
God of War III is primed to light things up
this is pretty sad. i almost want to pay more to turn it off, but that would just give them more money.
unfortunately they are doing this long after the game has sold millions, therefore most of the reviewers couldn't/didn't include this in their assessment of the game.
putting ads in the online version of the game is one thing, but there is no good reason to intrude on someones gameplay offline. especially when they are doing it in the manner they are. its repetitive and uncalled for.
This is a perfect example of the bad of in-game advertising. EA should be ashamed of themselves for this stunt.
Looking at these spots it makes it seem like Microsoft copied Sony's "Mountain" ad with their "Jump In" ad.

I guess I can see both sides of the argument, but it does seem a bit silly to think that a game could be absolute garbage and have amazing action elements propel it to best action game of the year. Its not like the award is singling out a specific scene...that would be different. If the award was for best action based segment, i.e. car chase, or final boss fight, it would be better imo. That way game of the year would have less of a confusing comparison.
Please don't say that. I enjoy playing Batman on my PS3. :)
