I agree. 2 is what killed the series for me. gears 1 was one of my favorite games of all time. Then 2 came out and the MP was damn near unplayable. Never got back into the series.
Finally someone with some sense. While I do prefer one console over another, I still hate when fanboys of my preferred system say the things they do. Fanboys in general are immature. I'm hoping fanboys are little kids because immaturity in that case would at least make some sense. But if you are an adult spouting nonsense, that is flat out embarrassing. Grow up.

I would normally agree but that console was rushed. I don't think they are going to be rushing out a console this time. Now, will it still have some issues? I'm sure it will but I don't think it will be nearly as bad as a RRoD which impacted a majority of the consoles.

Another question though, what becomes of the disc once you're done with the game? You can't sell it because it is useless now. Or am I misunderstanding? Are you just stuck with a pile of games?
Heard the same rumor for the next Xbox. If they both do this, that would terrible IMO. I played over 500 games this gen and majority were used. People just won't buy as many games at launch and wait until big price drops if you have to buy games new.
I will probably try them all. Don't know if I will buy them but definitely going to play them. Probably buy PS4 and 720. Slight chance of Steambox. We shall see though.
Don't they all have the same NFL games? (Madden). I don't understand how you can use that as a deciding factor since they all have the same NFL game?

The PS3 Netflix is much better IMO. I don't use pricing as a reason why either. I just think the UI is much better. That doesn't mean I won't use the Xbox Netflix but I just don't like the way it's setup.
Yep madden series used to be pretty dang good. This gen of maddens has been mediocre. Hopefully madden gets good again next gen. ( and maybe some 2k football)
I've been so used to playing on a bigger screen so if I play on anything small I have a hard time. My nephew wanted to play split screen co-op campaign Halo 4 on his screen. Damn near had a fit. I couldnt see anything. When I move out I'd like to upgrade again and maybe get a 55-60 inch LED.
