Big fail revealed. Great way to start the year off Capcom. This game is going to flop. The online will probably be a joke and the game is unplayable unless your willing to buy an arcade stick or put up with a gamecube controller. I'm sure it'll get good reviews but they picked the WORST system to release this game on.
Gears 1 and 2 are ugly games when examining them up-close and compared to games out now, but they were visually impressive looking at the time they were released. Today, not so much.
Damn, I wanna play this game even more now.

Oh yeah, and the catch: it's not a premium theme. No surprises here. It's like it would kill them to give anything away for free, even to gold members(people paying).
As of lately, I have been moving forward. Years ago, I would tell myself that I would I never get rid of my xbox or ps2 games, but I have gave most of them away by now.
But my PS3 ALWAYS needs to be online. Games like Warhawk and MAG aren't even playable without PSN. I also find myself downloading demos much earlier on PSN than XBL. I wouldn't be doing myself any favors if I didn't take an advantage of PSN.
The RROD issue has ran its course for what, 3 years now? Another Xbox breaking wouldn't surprise anyone at this point because it has occurred so many times. Also, it's not just RROD, there's also disc scratching and E74. My Xbox broke 3 times before they finally "got it right". I'm sure the failure rate is down but when most big games come out on 360, we hear about people having some type of hardware related issue with their Xbox, one usually being RROD.
Lets face it, this game had plenty of hate and people were expecting it to be bad. Unfortunately for them, it turned out to be fantastic game yet we still see articles reaching to claim this game as "disappointing". $60 overpriced DLC with the same outdated 2 year old engine is "disappointing", but that didn't make the list some how.
The PS3 demo runs very smooth(60fps) with no framerate drops at all.
Is it just me or do most of these GameStop robberies take place in Florida?
That's a lot of damn features. Hopefully it's no more than $60-$70 a year. Oh wait, I thought we would have the ability to play all PS1 games for free? Where's that at?

LFD's primary audience is PC, and they probably are the majority of that 2 million, not 360 owners. The 360 version is just a crappy port when you think about it(no mods, bad graphics, higher price, etc).
And I have to admit, this game is freaking awesome! I wasn't expecting much from it but I have really been impressed by what this beta offers.
It worked for ODST, so maybe they thought it'll work for MW2.
Either way, I could care less but I was interested to see if this was true. If it's an expansion and not a map pack, I'm sure they will charge $20 or more for it.
