Gone will be the days of buying a 2 year old game for $15, with digital distribution comes a monopoly on game sales, since sony,microsoft and nintendo will all be selling their own games for their own systems you will only be able to purchase the games from them and since you can only buy it from them they will charge whatever they want, price drops will be few and far between.
Digital distribution will be a double edged sword and quite a sharp one.
If you are going to dis the franchise in your post at least get its name right.

60fps is only really needed for PC FPS as the controls are hella twitchy(not saying it's a bad thing) but with the console versions 60fps is barely any different to 30fps.

The gamescom trailer shows that this game is one to watch, and with kojima helping it a little i'm sure it will be much better then previous castlevania 3d games.

First of all inFamous was never a BIG exclusive, it was a new IP with an average amount of hype for a new IP.
Secondly Demons Souls is selling well for a title that has not been released outside the east and US, and lets not forget the fact that most people who know about this game are people who read up on games via the internet from sites like N4G.
Also Eyepet hasn't been released in the US, but even still i think it's not a game that will appeal to alot of people....
