I know a few people try and argue that the GO was just another option, but it was a bad idea from the start. Having no way for umd's to be transferred to it was just stupid, it basically cut their sales down to first time buyers. And overpricing it was just more doom.
I'm sure the 3000 will still do well with the price cuts until ngp comes out.
I bet it will go to consoles. From what I've heard about it pc gamers are already up in arms so I believe that's the general direction they've been heading. They wont pass up free money, so it makes sense. I wasn't a fan so I don't really care either way.

Still waiting on getting a wii. The price drop is nice, but I'd rather see a price drop on their 1st party games, which is the real reason I still haven't bought one.
I get the supply and demand, but seriously no thanks amazon, I'm not paying 45 bucks for a 5 year old game (looking at you zelda.) And lets be real the only games I want are the 1st party ones, which are all above 40, no matter when they came out.
Looks like a more modern dreamcast controller. Bigger color screen and such. But really it gets too far from the wii design so I doubt they'll go that route. They need to maintain their family oriented feel, to keep the sheep munching.

Consoles Don't multitask like computers do so there's not as much use for it. Rarely does a PC game go above 2 gigs even after hours with a mem leak. Unless consoles allow for you to do several background applications while you're playing, it's not gonna get used.

I can't disagree with you on whats been said, but this is blizzard were talking about. They have pushed the release of almost every game they've made more than once. You really can't take any of their projections as anything but guess work.
You do know that new drivers software can give improvments for many popular games so even if you didn't get a new card ceratins games may still get better over time.
Not to mention the ability to over clock, which which commonly gives a substantial boost.
And for those who do upgrade, they can play current games better and completely max out older titles they still love to play.

The original story was so epic they could easily make it longer than 3 games, especially when not a lot happens in ME2 concerning the reapers. I would much rather see them pace things out than try and cram everything into one last game.

I don't understand why everyone thinks PC gaming is difficult though. The consoles are doing all the same things now, digital dl, hard drives, patches, installs. Even so the little you'd have to learn would be well worth what you get in return.

Sadly I don't think the games that do have that option aren't all that balanced.
Most of the time picking the evil side will cost you in the long run, losing mission options for instance when you cut off dialog or kill someone who has some minor role later. Many times people just wont talk to you, so I sorta feel like I miss out when being totally evil.
So I end up going good on my first play though almost every time, then go evil on 2nd play though. ...

Its just sad how they release genesis collections over and over, yet wont make anything new based off those legendary titles. I sorta agree, but the reapers were supposed to invade anyways. They never explain what the collectors plan had to do with the invasion. So you stop the collectors from taking other humans, and kill a new reaper. If you saved the station they hint that it could be used to help fight back, but that fairly absurd considering the number of reapers in dark space (and I'm not sure that's canon.)
