I can't possibly agree with ME2 being ranked number 1. It was pretty good, but hardly as great as everyone gives it credit for. I just replayed it with all the dlc and honestly it wasn't much different this time around, which makes me think even less of it having no great replay value.
Much of the dialog has canned responses. Once you pick good or evil, you're basically picking the appropriate line every time, but playing renegade this time I noticed how similar t...
It won't pass, but even if it did they won't enforce it and it would get repealed or modified. They're trying to find a way to control people, but the reality is they cant. This is idealism at its finest, its not a perfect world and there are some things you can't do anything about.
Jail time and fines sounds scary, but look at the reality of the situation, courts cost money, jails cost money, both are already packed to the brim as it is, and they wanna waste ...
Totally agree. In fact just looking at their character, "shulk" makes me immediately lose interest in the game.
The absurd, overly lavish wardrobe alone sends red flags sailing. The bleach blonde hair and oversized sword is almost definitive confirmation that the hero is the typical japanese moody emo type. Voice over or not, much of his dialog will be complaining and over-dramatic sulking.
Not that western heroes are much better with being constan...
Syndicate, Dungeon Keeper and the first Fable are the only good things this guy has done in his lifetime. We're so far past those now that he needs to either come out with something truly spectacular or just keep his mouth shut.
He talks on and on, yet never delivers. After playing fable 3, I think he needs to retire, that was abysmal.
I think #6 should have been higher up, "Ditching the First Game" has made me lose faith in almost every developer now, if I liked the first game, why ohh why would you completely abandon it in the sequel. Crysis was a good example, I liked them all play wise, but the story in crysis 2 was weak and hard to follow. And leaving out both the previous main characters is total nonsense, I just don't know how they justified it in their heads, cause it really didn't seem like a sequ...
So those who already bought crysis 2 on stream can no longer dl it...... that's why I'm cautious of "buying" digital, what are those people suppose to do now?
They will continue to charge extra for anything gamers are willing to pay for, grudgingly or not if you're gonna hand over the dough eventually, then they could care less what the public opinion of it is.
I love video games, but I hate the last decade or so with all the corporate bullshit going on now. All the rules have changed, its not make a good game, get good sales. It really is how far can we push people before they break, and apparently they can get away with a lot...
Bluray all the way. I hear people saying physical disks are a thing of the past, but its simply not true.
1.Many like myself will always want a hard copy of something we "own" otherwise it is in all reality just a rental, that you could be denied access to for numerous reason. The psn crash should be proof enough that you can't be solely dependent on someone else for access to "your" stuff. What if netflix went down for a month and and half? You're...
I completely agree that this is likely a ploy to increase sales. They say "We understand that and we're listening," but I think it's just to get people interested again and to preorder.
Maybe its EA's fault, but its irrelevant as I fairly certain both ME2 and DA2 sold better than their predecessors, which really is the bottom line when it comes to how games get made.
People need to be less trusting, bioware isn't you're old fri...
Fable 3 blew. I just beat it 2 days ago, and I can say for certain I wont ever be playing it again.
Its slow as hell, partly by design (it was not ported well to pc) and partly just by the tasks. Tons of things just dont even make sense, from dating, (every women wants you to deliver a letter before she'll go out with you,) to combat (guys block melee non-stop, but die pathetically to any magic.) Plain and simple its just not a fun game.
The humor can be...
While this particular game doesn't interest me, I applaud those who are cancelling their preorders.
Everyone hates this kind of exclusive bullshit and the ONLY thing game companies listen to is SALES. So good job, keep hitting em where it hurts and some day our children and our children's children won't have to tolerate this injustice. God Bless.
Damn, I was delighted when I heard about this, but 60 bucks is a bit much, I rarely buy anything at that price so I guess I'll be waiting a bit longer to finally play those.
lol, xbl people are gonna bend over and take it like they always do. Sheep don't riot, they just accept it and spin it as a necessity for the great privilege of being able to play xbox.
I'd buy it, and don't stop there MG 1 and 2 could use a revamp from the 8 bit era and its time better spent then making crappy spinoffs with raiden.
I'm getting a little worried now. I hope they aren't changing some of the basics.
"human shield option being required to pass a brightly lit room" This is and should be a stealth game, one of the ways to play should be completely invisible. Costumes, sneaking, and hiding should always be an option, not exposed hostage taking. Hell I'll do it for fun on later playthroughs, but don't force it.
And while it's not confirmed either wa...
Not impressed with the on the rails shooting, I hate that.
I know its only one part of the game, but still, they need to show off the damn rpg elements that are "supposed" to be coming back.
Please enlighten us. I'm all for new tech, but that controller with all its bells and whistles doesn't seem to open any new possibilities.
Its got a screen, so did the dreamcast controller, which was a gimmick, not gaming of the the future! Touchpad and accelerometer, meh, hardcore games can't really rely on you taking you eyes off the tv to look down at your controller. And touchscreen (or at least your coordination with it) is fairly inaccurate when moving fast...
That's fairly weak tbh.
"12-centimeter proprietary high-density" optical disk, i assume theyre not going dvd for piracy reasons, but no bluray makes it pretty dated tech for something coming out next year, I don't really see the point. I wanna know how much can these propietary disks hold, but it still seems like a step back when they should have just gone bluray.
SD memory card and USB hard drive is disappointing. I think they should just a...
Torture porn?! geeez never heard so much moaning and screaming, yea I get it shes hurt. I'm already sick of hearing that after 6 min of it, I can't even imagine a 8 or so hour game of it.
Plus wtf is with the environment destruction, its like CoD got their mits on it, constant explosions and fall debris. Visual candy is good, but thousand year old rock doesn't suddenly crumble cause a 120 pound woman knocks against it.
Also looks very linear, if h...
meh, I've been watching HoMM6 for a while now and I'm pretty sure its gonna be mediocre.
They're changing a lot which sounds good honestly, but I don't think their implementation will be a shining success.
Races are streamlined, which needed to happen, but unit selection seems iffy at best. Some of the most iconic units have are now missing.... like dragons. Along with that, the story seems as convoluted as homm5's trilogy which tbh was j...
