Awesome game. Had it on dreamcast and played it non-stop. 2 player co-op too for teaming up with a buddy. Hidden stages for pro players. This game had it all, I only wish the made an alpha 4 already, its been too long.
Yea EU version is better, though I think they could beat that too with a little effort. The US one makes me think action, which is exactly what we DON'T want silent hill games to focus on.
No, fable 3 was awful on all fronts. Characters, plot, interaction, choices, combat, there was absolutely nothing good about that game. Far worse then fable 1, I wouldn't even recommend it to someone I hate.

Not having anyone from Vampire Bloodlines makes that list completely bogus. I'm with TonyP that Jeanette would be a easy front runner, though that game has several cool ones that could make the list (jack,nines,cab driver). I'm not impressed. Red hair is fine, but the facial model is weak. Fem Shepard can be strong and tough without looking "angery" in fact I would say it's sorta lame since people who are truly dangerous don't spent time pretending to look threatening.

Very cool. Too bad companies don't make beat'em up games anymore. I wouldn't say ME is a great IP for that type anyways, but he did a wonderful job on it. Fable 3 destroyed any credibility they had, there is no way I'm gonna even consider buying this. For a game made 6 years later it is flat out awful compared to Fable 1. Meanwhile games like skyrim look to be pushing the genre farther, much like its predecessor oblivion did. I don't see any way this game will even compete with all the great games that will be out by that time.

Most have suspected as much, the 6990 and 590 were clearly the final high end cards for their series and no ones been hyping their next gen at all so you know its a little ways off.
I love the steam hardware survey, it really proves you don't need top of the line graphics cards to be a pc gamer. The 9800 which came out over 3 years ago is the most common, I can personally attest that it plays all the current games, since I'm still rocking mine.

The RE movies sucked for the same reason RE5 sucked, its not survival horror its action. Plus changes that make no sense like alice, no offense to milla cause shes great, but the games already had 4 lead characters did they really need to base a movie on a new heroine.
Not once did anyone cry over their dwindling ammo supply or get frustrated at not being able to figure a way past an obstacle (like the puzzles did for the game.)

You obviously didn't play sonic 1 when it was first released cause it was by far the fastest thing anyone had ever played. Yea the platforming was pretty standard, but speed runs were what you showed your friends and their jaws hit the floor.
And comparing to mario is hardly anything to go by. All the mario games are fantastic sellers, while the newer sonic's are mediocre and falling. Nintendo seems pull off their changes, sega is a bit cluele...

I've been fairly critical of this game since DX1 is hands down my favorite of all time, and I know they've made some serious changes to this one. But I'm still hoping they can pull it off, there's just little things that still bother me about this. I want to finally play it.
I wouldn't buy it anyways, so I don't really care too much. But tbh it's not very good, the face doesnt look like hers (too young,) the chest is far too large and the pose doesnt represent her character. It would be fine for a generic asari figurine, but anyone who played the games would say it doesnt capture liara at all.
