They change it for the masses, but what are they offering that the masses haven't already had for years. Multiplayer? cover system?...... yea, nothing! So in the end you get a mediocre shooter for those fans and complete hatred from the original fans. That's not going to end in profit...

Seems fairly irrelevant. The 1st party titles are never pushing the limits of technology anyways, and most the 3rd party's are porting games that are already out.

I think the fans DO want it, but they're not able to provide so of course they will downplay the idea.
They don't seem to have enough exclusive characters or a mix of serious and funny to pull it off, the end result would be very different, and rarely is different good when its not in line with whats popular.

'Death of a Showman' was a tutorial. If the new game has every level like that its gonna be awful. That is not the hitman series.
There are 4 games so far and only the first and last levels of blood money have deviated from an open play style. This linear garbage is not representative of the hitman games at all. Each game has at least 12 levels so pointing to an example like DoaS as a gameplay style for the series is absurd.

Really good game, I hope everyone supports it. I knew nothing about it going in and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. With bioware clearly leaving rpgs for casual appeal we need studios like this to pick up the torch or we may lose the genre all together.
Other groups should be looking to snatch up these people fast cause they proved they're very talented at this.
