You do know there's a difference between database and filesystem, right? Any way I found a way not to format the hard disk. recently my ps3 wouldn't detect my HDD! but earlier this morning, I put a CD to extract onto my HDD (ps3 was vertical oriented) the BD-drive began spinning like hell but the HDD span so faster than the BD that it caused a overheat and the ps3 turned off with red blinking lights. WTF? then I put it horizontally, no problem. again. WTF?

Like if by accident, electricity goes out during the booting of your ps3 (when you turn it on until you see the XMB) then it blows your database as the ps3 requires a HDD to work unlike the 360 which is not necessary. reconstructing the database mandatorily does a format. Trust me it happened to me, however I found a workaround for the database rebuild in case your ps3 HDD blows and and you don't wanna lose your DRM downloads, PM me. ...

Why 720p? It's written behind that the game can output in 1080p (PS3 version). I'm sure 360 version too can do 1080p, why 720?
