I think that the wii being a third of the Price will do much better than the gamecube in JaPan.
But I don't think it will actually Pass the PS3 in sales over there.
I don't think the wii is going to beat the PS3 in JaPan.
Why? Well considering the PS2 outsold the Gamecube 3:1 in JaPan it looks like a very slim chance even with its low Price.
The new iPods will not fail.
The Xbox 360 is 50/50.
The nintendo wii might fail.
The PS3 is a 10% chance it fails.
You don't know how the wii will do in the rest of the world. Nobody does. DS didn't take out PSP. They are two very different Portables. PSP is high end DS is low end. Also the Japanese will probably buy the PS3 more than the Wii just because of FFXIII.
You know my predictions:
Xbox 360 sells WORSE than the original xbox in Japan. And that's already happening.

All the GT titles and Forza Motorsport is not better. Yes Forza is a very good racing simulator but it still hasn't caught up with GT4.
