@cchum no its not hardware tiling your getting confused with software tiling which requires alot more processing power and can't switch as many tiles and to do it properly requires very low latency and very high bandwidth which is why the xbone has EDram.
You can but if your hands are on the controller they can't separate to get the benefits from using kinect.
And there is only one console that can do hardware tiling, I may wait and see what happens at gamescon before I reconsider my ps4 preorder.
Why ask for DLC when the game hasn't even launched yet.
I would rather it be in the game from the start.
JRPGs sell like crazy in Japan for obvious reasons and right now the 3DS is by far and away the most popular console, so being with a publisher that deals with Nintendo is probably essential.
Segas not in a mess the made $131million profit last quarter, sega are good at making the right game for the right pc/console.
I was more interested in the offloading of processing to the cloud, if you look on vg leaks at the gpu they use display planes were the gpu can render different areas of the screen at different resolutions.
If you got the cloud to render 1/4 of the screen then you may be able get around some of the latency by streaming in the data in small chunks.
GTM grand theft Mariocart.
I won't buy this game unless this game sells under 1m.
Nothings cool that sells in COD numbers.;)
What about MGS the with its open world stealth game.
It was also interesting to hear him mension that now MS has got rid of online verification it will be harder to implement cloud functions with single player games now.
It's nice to hear someone say they want to give gamers value by including everything they can and not focusing on future DLC.
Just don't buy DLC simple.
But don't let that stop you buying a good game if it turns out to be a good game.
Yep, the devs that grasp these features combined with scalable tessellation will get close to cg movie quality.
Things like animation will change but as far as graphics go if its running on the in game engine it should look pretty close, don't forgot the engine will be going though optimization too.
Wow I was convinced the demo was prerendered.
@goldenelf and the complainers.
Any console image would have been relevant because if the read the article its based on the console industry also concerning the resale of digital downloads.
And to be fair putting in the xbone logo probably would be the most relevant because they were going to allow the resale of digital downloads.
@goldenelf.
I think the open padlock is completely unacceptable as the movement hasn't been passed yet so surely the picture should be one of a closed padlock and someone threatening it with a key preferably someone with a half xbone half ps4 t-shirt on to gain some agrees. :)
@inthelab
Name some multi tasking features you would rather have at the expense of better games.
@jsonhenry tiled rendering isn't new both the dreamcast and ps vita can do it.
But hardware tiling is.
I don't think GDDR5 will be as good as DDR3 for tiled rendering as it relies on out of order memory access to quickly change between different tile sets.
Unless this could be got around with clever programming queuing textures in order.
