I think it would have been much better is pspGo was not announced before E3...
overall it was great though. The games shown were all brilliant. Theres no doubt that sony has the best lineup of games coming.
But the preformance sony did wasnt as good as microsofts. MS's speaker made a huge deal of everything and was much more entertaining to watch. Plus at the start of each game he didnt go on about sales like sonys guy...

Kojima directs the MGS games, writes there scripts, is heavily involved in everything from graphics, to voiceovers, to the brilliant cutscenes.
Kojima is MGS, MGS is kojima. Which is why Im actually more excited for peace walker, the psp game. Plus theres rumors that kojima's doing a ps3 exclusive game that could be an MGS game =D
well its not involving raiden, or snake with peace walker (cant wait for peace walker!!!)
Since raiden is the bit after MGS4 (I guess, or between MGS2 and 4)then I have a feeling kojima will go back to having little tech help like MGS3.
I personally think it would be brilliant if we could have a game where you get to play as Boss, the woman who trained Big boss. She fought in WW2.

and why would kojima be happy? MS has payed konami TNS of cash to turn his vision, which he has worked on for tens of years, into an action game cash cow. They're "halofying" it. Turning it from stealth to pure gears style action which is really sad for such a brilliant piece of gaming.

The 360 no controller thing just cant work for hardcore games.
If your playing an FPS, you NEED buttons for triggers. and what about moving forwards? great the 360 can track you in 3D but you can actually walk as theres your TV in the way, so you NEED buttons.
MS's project natal isnt ready yet, its a gimmick, sonys think may look odd (old model) but it I can see it actually working in REAL GAMES

As great as project natal looked, for actual proper gaming this might be better...
I mean project natal is great for the casual audience. But his it what I really wanted. It can be used for FPS games, fighting games and other genres.
And YES, with the tech we have buttons are still needed and I just cannot see MS's no controller scheme working with proer games for the gamer audience...

I dont know how long it takes to start streaming on ordinary connection speeds (remember e3 would have been using huge fibre optics and incredible speeds).

Well it did look good. And I love the car customisation thing.
As far as im concerned though the video thing is a gimmick and detracts from the actual racing, which we did not see a huge amount of...
It definately looked very good, but you could tell it was a game, with GT5 though its just that bit better wheich really pushes it very close to photorealism.
we will have to see though. I thiknk as a racing sim GT5 will be better, but for fun? Who kno...

It did look very good.

Im not sure tbh. I still think that GT5 will look better.
and as for "the definitive" racing game. Forza is great fun, but its not a real racing simulator like gran turismo.
We cant say which is definitive, but I just think that GT5 will be that game.

But then again the ps3 has a web browser, so it has the ability to use all of facebook. And it looks like this 360 thing just takes the main bits and pieces. Which is fine, its good enough.
This is the thing.
MS will probably release some kind of controller too as for shooters and stuff you need buttons. Something to use as a gun, an analouge stick to go forwards (unless you want to walk onto your TV) and stuff like that.
Sony's controllers look odd, but are good in that you have buttons, and something to hold. Its good for shooters and fighters.
