Just shows how biased this place is.
And anyway yes it is silly to compare a demo to a final game, but with the huge hype surrounding the game doing an article comparing the two = tons of hits which = more revenue.
There websites are here to make money, no to pleas eother websites... this guys views will go nowher...
One thing i will say though is that after all the hype about damage its actually not that good...
On the demo you can go striaght into walls without any real sort of crumpling.
It was similar to GT5's WRC video.
I never played shadow of the collosus but i might give it a go to see if Id like this game.
Hopefully at least... I doubt I will be able to actually find it =S
Forza 3's graphics are very good. In replay mode even the other cars look great with good reflections and the cars feel really solid and are a joy to drive in the demo.
But its the features Im excited about, the online mode, the hugely deep tuning and painting. If youve played forza 2 you'll be excited about what people are going to paint onto cars to sell. I am.
The whole game feels complete, from the brilliant menu system, to the feel of the cars, to the featur...

I mean the game is very deep with customisation which shows the game really takes all the factros, downforce, transmission, suspension ect into account.
Just looking at the real time telemetry is incredible.
Until GT5 comes out, on consoles, Id say turn 10 is probably right.
And the demo is pretty incredible.
Maybe you just dont like a challaenge =P
Anyway i tried the dirt 2 demo and whilst it seemed great the in car view just felt wrong. In forza 3 though its perfect.
Also racing sims are great fun. Its not like an arcade game where you master it in an hour and can do everything easlily. If you just like to watch yourself win all the time then an arcade game is great fun.
But sims are about saving up for that perfect car, tuning it up, doing laps with ...
Its difficult.
Its hard to say becuase forza 3 is more colourful by choiuce, so GT5p will look more realistic by deafault just for the colour scheme.
But I have the forza 3 demo, and GT5:p and from those two I'd say Forza 3 does look better.
The reflections are better, and the textures are quite a bit ahead. And the environments just generally feel more 3D.
And in replay mode you can see the wheels move with te suspension, reralistic...
Ive read some for more complex games like console RTS games as I cant be bothered messing arund with button combo's.
It was great last gen when many games had bits of writing about each character but nowdays theres hardly anything there at all...
I just got the demo of Forza 3 and overall it does look better than prolouge.
I also like the new feel. The cars feel much more realistic, weighty and planted, 2 was too drifty. It feels more like prolouge, but just more updated (which is expected as its a newer game).
And the in car view is SPOT ON, it really feels like your in the car, its brillaint.
Overall it looks like forza 3 is 100% an AAA game.
Personally i think GT5 will graphic...
Demand really is very high. I bet there are so many people who bought two to sell on ebay for a higher price.
I wonder how long it will last though? This is a sales spike rush most likely. Consoles dont generally sell over a million each month this late into the game so how long will it last?
Hopefully quite a while. But this isnt over, sony needs to follow the price drop with features and games, loads of them.

Iv not been this hyped for a game since Killzone 2. But tbh Uncharted is on a whole other level, its overall presentation, story and characters vastly surpass KZ2.

Im sorry, its fine not to like the 360 if thats your thing, but bashing bungie is just not right...
When bungie started reating halo, MS saw it and realised it could be huge, thats why they very quickly bought up the rights to halo as soon as possible.
When it came out on consoles it was just unmatched. I remember playing it round a friends house and it was just incredible, timesplitters, Call of duty, nothing compared.

Using an analoge on that controller wouldnt be easy. Theres nowhere it could go without feeling clumsy.
If nintendo could find a way to add it to their wimote they would have. But in the end they realised that they needed a controller with a whole different shape.
I wonder if this controller was suppoed to go with the dualshock that can be taken into two parts, that would have a similar shape to a nunchuck then.

This gen I think playstation thought they could get away with an expensive console. But MS is very good at taking marketshare. Look at windows, The internet explorer, they know what theyre doing.
This gen theyve been attacking all the time. They threatened to price the ps3 out of the market, using the ps3's price as their advantage. And theyve merketed games so well that theyve created 2 giant names in gaming, halo and Gears of war.
Wow its amazing how different GT5 and forza are going to be...
From the art style to the features, both are completely different interpritations on what a sim racer should be...
Cant wait for either of them tbh. =D
