With that logic... Mortal Kombat is a rip off of street fighter
And Smash Bros is a rip off of outfoxies
1)Nintendo did not invent the cross over idea... this existed in cartoons, movies and other mediums way before they came into videogames
2) The outfoxies, had a 4 player side scroll fighter, in which players could pick up weapons and use them against others... this idea of picking up weapons was also used in games l...
Or... You could choose not to buy the dlc
Sadly dlc has got a bad rap, thanks to capcom and activision holding back content
However, most studios work on dlc before the game ships.... Why?
So the game you get is quality... Seriously think about it... Why would anyone say hey we will release a lot of dlc before the game releases?
They are not holding back content, just saying they will support it in the future
...
Also, if the thing is talked about alot, then people become interested... avengers and TDKR were the 2 most hyped up films of this year
Its also why movies that win the oscars, and games that win GOTY, books that get oprahs seal of approval suddenly become so popular
Everyone wants to see what its about, even though there is a chance, they wont like it
Its an inception ending... there are 2 ways you can look at it
I completely disagree with this guys arguement though... AC comes no where close to rises
Simply due to the plot, and the fact that many characters in the game were ridiculously underused, and were not fleshed out very well
Same with avengers... a good majority of the people who saw it have very little understanding of superhero's

Just got borderlands for 5 bucks on steam
and that sounds like nothing compared to the glitches I had in Skyrim
The Winterhold college quests shut me out, and I could not progress past the first mission... and inorder for me to join... I had to kill 10 guards, one of the students... flee the town, pay my fine
And then I could join the college
And thats just the tip of the iceberg.... break dancing dragons,walking with a sword...

Ok... I understand my name and me backing up Assassins Creed looks biased
But I do feel that way with DlC in general... the concept exists to extend the gameplay
However, some studios DO exploit this and hold back content, its not fair to assume that all studios do this... example Capcom and Bioware having it on the disk, and the money is used to unlock it.
Therefore... the content already exists
