I just bought a Ps3 because I owned PS1, PS2, and I wanted some Ps3 games I could not get on the Xbox360.
Right now it doesn't look like I've made a bad choice. I do not hate the xbox360, believe me if I could buy one I definelty would.

If you've seen the avatar customization for HOME you know that there is way more to do with your avatar not to mention the special costumes you can download.
now you want to compare these issues to RROD? LOL.
I've never had an issue with my PS3 in any updates. It's a smaller problem than RROD and it is solved 10 times faster.
tell me that everyone that played the demo liked it and the only ones bashing it are Ps3 fans.

I don't know much about Mirror's Edge but it does look good. I've heard a little about how this game is unique and whatnot.
fans only bash Too Human because they are fanboys just like xbox30 fanboys. Some who got their hands on the demo of Too Human said it sucked, while others said it was pure fun.
This game won't suc completely, but it will be a solid 8.0 game like Themart said.
not as shocking as ff13 on the xbox360 but it will help out the PS3.
The PS3 bundle of avent children and final fantasy 13 will skyrocket PS3 sales in Japan not to mention ff13 will be a PS3 exclusive in Japan.

What you are basically seaying is that Gears of War and halo each sell more than MGS4? Well that may be true but just because they sell more doesn't mean they are better.

The only reason you think Halo or Gears is better is because MS had their hype machine going. HOW can you compare a shooter to a stealth game?
Xbox360 is easier to develop for however if you can tap into the power of the PS3 you can come up with game like MGS4 and uncharted. Not to mention the others.
spare the I'm a gamer speech. You talk about the xbox360 being better than the PS3 as if it were a fact. Guess what? It's your opinion and wether you like it or not teh PS3 is really catching up this generation. If Microsoft wants their console to succeed above the PS3 they will have to bring in new games instead of exploting 2 exclusive franchises.

You say the Resistance is a decent game yet it was an AAA title so that proves my point right away.
Since you like numbers let me throw one right at you: The Ps3 outsold the xbox360 in 2007 even with Halo and decent games to say the least like you said. Do you think the xbox360 will outsell the Ps3 this year with only gears of war and some DLC that barely pushes system sales?

TELL ME, does a multiplatform game help microsoft? Heck the only big game on the xbox360 this year will be Gears of War 2. While the PS3 has littlebigplanet and resistance 2.
What games does the xbox360 have in 2009? The PS3 has Killzone 2, God of War 3, Infamous, and Final fantasy versus 13. Not to mention ff13 is exclusive to the PS3 in Japan where RPG games really sell.

There is nothing really exciting in FPS' these days. Killzone 2 will be a solid shooter.

for me because I wanna play MMOs. So I have to upgrade my PC every 2 or 3 years so that I can play that MMO. Not to mention the annoying monthly fees.
all they have to do is convert ps2 owners into ps3 owners and they win.
