I dont know what you mean by already running 1080 p games and ps3 stuck on 720p. Ps3 has had 1080p native games since the beginning it is nothing new. The only thing is that the standard by devs and the industry has long been 720p so most games are 720p. I have an android os phone and have never bought a game from the play market, nor will in the foreseeable future. Is it just me or are the controls in the Batman Arkham games kinda stiff? I mean love the games and graphics are top notch but the controls always feel stiff to me.

Don't know what ppl are going on about but mod nation is the best karting game out there IMO. Awesome game with great gameplay, graphics and creations. I'm in know beta but I'll tell you now it doesn't seems as it will beas good as mod nation. Seems like a cheap version of mod nation and driving karts don't feel as comfortable as MN.
With how good the AL is going to be and the semi open world feel and different routes you can take i know this game will be cream of the crop. The grpahics are a given so im interested in the other aspects of it. Just give me that adrenaline pumping, creature killing and life threatening feel and im all in. From what i saw with the shotgun blast in the trailer its all gooddddddddd.
No i would never say the most important element. What im saying is that i dont agree with the people downplaying the importance of graphics. And once again imo graphics are a very important factor but not the definitive one. The point still stands which is graphics can add to immersion and i beg to differ that graphics is the least part of immersion. Say that to the people that are old enough to have experienced the sega, turbografx, nintendo, coleco vision, atari 2600 days Mario and games from those times are wayyyyyy more immersive now not because of characters but because the graphics are so much better and the complexity.

N.D. aren't perfect but imo they are the best devs this gen and i will buy anything they sell. Of course they have committed errors such as changing the UC3 mp which imo was perfect during the first summer beta (not the bs subway one that was horrible) but all in all their games are top notch and enjoyable.

I assume with the Gaikai acquisition their focus is mainly on the gaming potential and also adding it to t.v.'s but the capabilities seem endless.
And yes most games arent native 1080p but you have a few that are on the ps3 and some on xbox which include for ps3 i believ flow, pixel junk monster and a few others are full 1080p native.
