PSN and Steam dont handle matchmaking for all the games on there service like MS does for Live.
COD on PSN and Steam are done with gamespy servers as with many games.

pippoppow, GTA4 uses MS matchmaking servers on the 360 and the ps3 version use servers paid for by rockstar. Like COD games for the ps3 use gamespy servers for matchmaking that are rented and the 360 version is done on Live servers.

I never thought about it, but it does play a lot like socom, it just takes a few more bullets to someone down.

This was a good review compared to most. I've read some that give completly wrong info and its clear they didnt understand how things worked to begin with.
I find it to a lot of fun, i've noticed most reviews are comparing it to mmos like wow which isnt fair.
Right now the game is pretty basic but its still fun, its like a big persistant multiplayer match. In the future expect to see districts with different rule sets like turf wars, racing and, chaos.
Warhawk was a fun game but had way too much auto-aim for my taste.
I played the MG demo that came with ZOE more then ZOE itself.
Its bullshit they made you chose between the PS3 & PC betas. I was signed up for the PC, then I got the beta voucher with FFXIII and switched to the PS3 because I figured id have a better chance getting in. Now that the PS3 version was pushed back I want in the PC beta.

Most people don't understand MS handles the matchmaking for nearly every game, Sony only handles 1st and 2nd party titles and 3rd parties either host their own or pay someone else for it.
It wouldn't have anything to do with Sony.
edit: I would make it easier. It could happen with games Sony publishes like Agency and DC. But its unlikely you'll be getting any deals for FFXIV and other third party mmos.
Played the beta for months, bought the game and I love it. Cant wait till tomorrow so I can play some more.

Skinny toons don't mater the hit boxes are the same for everyone. And if you were stunned you would of been dead in the first place.
The auto beanbag gun was nerfed which ruined it because it wasn't over powered.
Can you not read, I never said every game uses gamespy servers and if your rooms are showing up on a matchmaking list people are conneting through some ones server to get to your room in the this it would be steam since its a Valve title. Your able to run a dedicated server, but too stupid to understand this.
