Of course I'm referring to those that feel that fixed cameras were a fundamental aspect of classic RE. Didn't think I needed to spell it out after the first sentence. Who else would be sitting on the fence at this point?
Add a fixed camera mode with a auto aim rng critical hit system, adjusted lighting and control scheme and just watch the fence sitters come out of the wood work. This game will probably sell fine without it but why leave money on the table like that. It would also be a fine show of loyalty to those who have disliked the series since 4 but have continued to buy the games hoping the next iteration would the real deal that Capcom kept saying it would be. Seriously, after outright saying that the...
If it was as good as 'Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure', It would actually be a step in the right direction. The last time I got the warm fuzzies seeing the Activision logo was playing the ps1 Tenchu and Vigilante8 games, like WAY back in the day.
Maybe you got some weird version of the demo that had a 10 min time limit. I'm talking about the demo that came with the Resident Evil Director's Cut. It had no time limit. It ends when you go towards the back corner of the S.T.A.R.S. office and Ada shoots at you. I just played it the other day.
If you need proof, here you go. There is way more than 10 mins play time on this run.

The original RE2 demo had no time limit. Where the hell are yall getting this from?
Can someone confirm if creating extra accounts allows you to play the demo multiple times?
I can't wait. I haven't been this pumped for a game since before MK9 came out.
I think you're reading too much into it. Kei Nagase (Edge) has been a part of the series since AC2. She was your #1 wingman in both AC2 and AC5. I'm not saying thats her in the trailer, but even if its not, I doubt she's there to push an agenda. Even if she turns out to be the pov character.
Its about a bunch of convicts who fly for their government, kinda like Suicide Squad. It would be cool if they somehow worked those other characters into the story, or at least gave them a shout out somewhere. Maybe Pixy is one of the convicts. It could happen.
The only Xbone game I really wanted to play was Killer Instinct, and I'm not going to buy a console for 1 game. I hope Ms gets their shit together next gen. This is the first gen that I haven't owned an xbox since the beginning of xbox.
Thanks for that.
There are so many games from the PS1/PS2 era that would make great candidates for this kind of update treatment. If Namco ever commits to doing them, I imagine Xenosaga Trilogy is probably up there with Ace Combat for most likely to get redone.
The original demo wasn't a one shot though. You could play it as many times as you wanted to.
Oh. No, I'm not a pilot. Just an overgrown Air Force brat.
These? There was only one F-15S/MTD ever made.
@Nicknasty There is nothing in his comment that qualifies as picky or entitled. No game is above criticism. You should seriously consider taking your own advice cause you're the only one here who comes off as spoiled and entitled.
Thats a damn shame. The thing flies like a fish swims. One of my personal favorites.
I would love to see you try to substantiate that first sentence. And what does the Switch being a half gen behind have to do with anything concerning the quality of gaming in 2019?
Best year in gaming ever? Not even close. Best year for ps4? Its looking that way.
The technological restraint was only due to the fact that they went with pre-rendered backgrounds. They could have done a behind-the-back camera had they gone with full 3D environments like many games of the time did. Silent Hill on ps1 was all fully rendered 3D environments and yet Team Silent kept fixed camera angles because it served the horror so well. With classic RE they intentionally PICKED their set of technological restraints that best suited the game that they were making (survival ...
