After watching The Last Kingdom on Netflix, now I’m exited.
As you point out, there is simply too much content in FF7 to go. It seems to me that the only way they can finish is by completely scraping the open world and make it a linear story. It won’t even make sense to raise chocobos if the game is split. We’ll just probably ride one in a story event like the bike.
I am thinking that the next one will expand on Cloud’s backstory, Junon and the Gold Saucer and end emotionally with an expanded Barret backstory in Corel.
