For the sake of accessibility, I'm glad they included multiple control methods for those that are not physically able to play with motion controls. The more people that can enjoy the game, the better.

It's not until you read on that you find out this is only in the UK. Globally, the sales are a different story.

"Advantage" in regards to what? A young woman who chooses to flaunt her sexuality may have more viewers than me, but believe it or not, lonely, horny boys are not the audience I am looking for. These women are free to do what they want and they are using things like Twitch as a platform. It doesn't affect anyone else. They aren't "stealing" an audience, because their audience are looking for skin.

For me, the worst players are those that never spot. If everyone on your team spotted, it would be a walkover victory!

I personally wait for all the episodes of a game to come out. Not just so I can binge play them, but so all the inevitable bugs are fixed!

Yeah, he's awesome! His game is a ton of fun too, I've had the opportunity to play it a few times with a group. He's added a lot more since I last looked at it though.

Jon Remedios is truly one of the Good Guys in indie games development!

There is a game like it - Ingress. The game that Pokémon Go is based on and was made by the exact same people - Niantic.

We haven't seen their first game yet, let's hold our judgement until Animal Crossing or Fire Emblem are released.

That Iwata fact is invented. Pokémon Go is an extension of Ingress - which was created by Niantic. It was not Nintendo's idea and that's a well known fact, that's not new.

Nintendo do not hold a controlling stake in The Pokémon Company, nor do they own the intellectual property of Pokémon. Did they help fund its creation? Yes - but that's just the business end. They are run independently.

Regardless, the game is Niantic'...

Nintendo didn't make, or have anything to do with Pokémon Go. Niantic made the game, in collaboration with The Pokémon Company - who are not Nintendo.

Just because Pokémon is traditionally on Nintendo consoles does not mean the game is Nintendo's.

Frustrating when everyone is usually so picky, for this to slip through.

Why would any videogame fan want any game to be failure? The concept at its very core is absolutely ridiculous. Not buying a console or a game is a consumer choice, not a desire for something to fail. This isn't a sport where you cheer on teams. Anyone who responds to a game that way needs help and should be ignored.

No way am I clicking this, what on earth is this supposed to achieve? How insensitive.

I think games should be focused on accessibility above difficulty. A game can be challenging by design, but if not all gamers are able to enjoy that experience on a level playing field, then the designers are letting a loyal portion of the gaming audience down.

Exactly! You can't compare two games that aren't even running on the same engine...

Which way the money goes is kind of irrelevant to my point. It's still a mutually beneficial deal between two brands. My point was that children's brands (Disney, Pokémon) are far less forgivable to be associated with junk food than adult brands (Call of Duty, whatever 18+ movie).

The reason that nobody is up in arms about DOOM branded cups is that adults are able to make poor diet choices for themselves. Young children are more influenced by these marketing de...

The article appears to be comparing Disney to the entire games industry, which is quite broad. If there was a promotional deal between Pokémon and McDonalds (which has likely happened), I can understand the point. However, the average gamer is 31 years old and has already made the choice to step into the restaurant. All but one of the games listed here are 18-rated. You seem to suggest that video-games as a medium are somehow intrinsically linked to youth, which wouldn't be true. Muc...
