that exaggerated violence with the slickly animated blood spurts is incredible. I almost forgot but am remembering just how impressed I was with gears's graphics.
that was very informative, bubbles for trying to educate your audience
I found a few concepts were okay like the Thousand Year Dreams; but the god-awful writing was just too much to take. "Queen Numara has graciously given me command of all her forces!!", crap like that.
has already confirmed online multiplayer for this game, months ago. on the 1up show video podcast. it's okay most of the time you should check it out.
way to go, list Soul Calibur on the PS3 side but not 360... WTF??
no believe me, I get it - you mean Vader is superior to Yoda IYO. and I'm saying I think both are kind of g@y and the difference is negligible. that's a pretty weak leg to stand on. P.S. I think somebody's still a little sore about getting the crappy Heihachi version last-gen...
for many the 360's lineup may be considered weaker than the PS3's this year. congratulations. I'm not one of the many my...
nah he has both 360 and PS3 I believe that was stated elsewhere. unless it's just a sneaky droid trick to say you have both...
I'm a little fatigued but will at least finish once, pretty sure. and just like Lost Planet multiplayer, GTA is not near as tight as say Gears but fun in its own crazy way. so I'm starting to get into that, think it'll keep me occupied for a while...
are u f-ing serious, man? Haze? MGS maybe... but Haze??? I remember having to sit through Haze commercials while watching the 1up show months ago, and thinking how annoying the automatics sounded. like some kind of stupid toy gun...
stop just blindly trying to counter anything pro-360. it's even more annoying than the gun sound effects from Haze.
does UT have a cover system? does it have beautifully exaggerated violence via headshot, shotgun splatter & chainsaw bayonet. these 2 things make it a completely different game. even running on the same Unreal engine, the style with which the 2 games are presented is not the same.
and yes, the aesthetics are important. a valid criterion for some of us if not all. not that I need to defend myself on that, I see plenty of people in here arguing over minor graphical diffe...
I never criticized sony installs, why would I? if it helps the game run better, I can handle a one-time delay that's not too long...
if PS3 is 'on a higher curve' it's mostly on the strength of the sony/playstation brand name IMO. 360 does not copy PS3 overtly as far as I can tell, esp. in reference to this list because I don't believe it's legit.
you must not work in journalism in this industry; otherwise you'd know better than to be goaded into an argument.
has had the most generic selection of games historically. I'm envious of LBP; but in the past when I thought of sony I thought of uninspired me-too platformers and rpgs...
I've been reading these comments and thinking, really 4-player co-op? how do you tell which combo you're pulling off with that much going on in one room? or who you're attacking, etc?
only screens/videos I've seen so far are closed/ceilinged rooms, nothing huge and open to move freely with 4 players. but I prob haven't seen all the available vids...

ever started touting Banjo3 as a killer app for 360, or how it took off from there. now we have this sh1t game that the droids are having a field day with, thanks alot. seriously why was this ever supposed to be a big deal?
I've never played a Banjo game before, it always looked like crap. and I don't recall them ever being that big a deal.
why don't you chill man you're giving xbox fans a bad rep with your inflammatory comments.
'style' being the key word there. I expected crap graphics based on my San Andreas experiences but am very impressed. still shots don't hold up well but I find the stylistic background-blurring and the lighting effects to be quite good in motion. almost like they knew their graphical limitations and just created a suitable style.
the gunfire sounds awful, like a toy nerf-gun or something IMO
well I see what you mean, although I don't agree I still think that the 360's lineup was and is preferable. but I think Be Reasonable knows what he says isn't REALLY a fact, in the sense of the technical definition of what is an absolute 'fact'.
no sorry I disagree. only have 360 and I'm starting to get mighty p1$$ed at my 3rd - or is it 4th now? - machine freezing up outright on some games (wish I could keep working at those mass effect achievements) and now when I use the xmedia blades also freezing so that I have to power off and on again multiple times just to try and sign in sometimes. I bought at gamestop and they wouldn't let me warranty this last replacement, they're not doing it anymore so now I'm f*ck3d as my system s...
don't be silly both sides have their crazies on the great n4g.com!
