that god-awful game where you couldn't even tell which character you were selecting?
had western RPGs...????
the variety to the environments that Morrowind had. Oblivion is mostly all grass & some trees...
3.5 times. now I've temporarily 'traded' it for a friend's turok just to try and get him to play through this awesome game.
bubbles for all 3 of you
the PS2 was LEAST powerful last-gen and it dominated (excluding the brief battle with Dreamcast)! so stop trying to predict that the 360's lesser graphics/processing power will cause it to lose this-gen!!
in about A YEAR OR SO, keep waiting...
I didn't take bubbles from you.
anyway, you're right about microsoft. but just don't be foolish enough to believe sony isn't guilty of the same. for example, they've been phasing out the backwards compatibility on newer PS3 models but the wording on the box doesn't clearly state that for the average consumer...
being a Bethesda project in and of itself is noteworthy. we get good stuff from these guys.
too true, too true...
u mean the tenchu character?! please don't compare the crappy controls of tenchu with a game like NG which is light years beyond it...
sadly, I think you're right that many PS2 owners will overlook the 360 based solely on their familiarity with sony. that's too bad because the 360 still has some great experiences you can't get on the PS3, that are at least worth consideration...
@badz149:
yes that's really smart go ahead and trust the playstation-branded reviews of playstation software...
but I agree that to this date, PS3 STILL only has 1 game currently available that I really want to play and can't get anywhere else. whereas 360 has several games out NOW that are great. that fact does (and should) count for something.
because didn't haze get unanimously poor reviews? ...and no one hears any of it, none of those mags come forward and say 'microsoft offered me $$ to score haze low'? no leaks whatsoever? do you see how this is ret@rded if you just think about it for a bit?
and then of course you might ask yourself, if microsoft were in the business of buying reviews, wouldn't it be enough/easier to just pad their own games reviews, rather than worrying about trying to lower their competition...
dude Game Informer sucks. I seriously can't stand to read that trash, it's barely better than gamepro with those STUPID attempts at humor under every d@mn screenshot... that mag makes me wonder don't you have to be a college grad to get into journalism?
anyway I just want to remind everyone again that between xbox gamecube and PS2 the PS2 was LEAST powerful; yet it dominated, no question of that. so the minor differences between 360 and PS3 graphics won't necessarily affect ...
here we go, let's make fun of microsoft for not getting a release first/right away. yet most sony fans here will try and take it the other way when it works to their advantage and say, "we're getting Bioshock and Mass Effect!" yeah like a full year later...
although I prob believe them on this one that the camera can be annoying. but in general I much prefer the other British gaming mag I've run into: gamesTM. highly recommended.
xbox fans caught a whole lot of sh1t from sony fans this past holiday season for spotty XBL services throughout. it's only fair if there's a little revenge hate headed sony's way if they have had similar problems with predicting mass traffic.
although I enjoy reading your clever third-person comments, bubbles to you
Gears plays nothing like Halo 3. please don't speak of things that you have absolutely no knowledge of.
