I thought that sh1t was pretty d@mn new. my bad. would you please let me know what cool new tech has already made HDMI a useless relic?
well, not LIE so much as MISLEAD (they always cover their asses that's all they care about so no they don't outright LIE usually). sony misleads with their Trophies promises and with their psuedo-silence about the lack of backwards-compatibility on their new PS3s (this is what I've heard, not 100% sure. but I bet if the new model's boxes say it anywhere it's in VERY small print.) but guess what? microsoft misleads, too. I don't remember reading anywhere that content I bought online would...
I hate your avatar but bubbles for using the point 360 owners have been saying in your own argument. which is that despite being the newer kids on the block, the progress made so far is impressive.
bubbles 4 u hotshot - although I don't know if I (or others) would really want to hang out in a virtual Home in the end. I'm with shelby if I had to put my $ on the line right now.
I'm talking about stuff like this:

which contains:
[comment string] 4 - "More good news for my Sony Soldiers!
You POOR DIMWITTED PIGS- this is yet ANOTHER masterpiece you miss out on! It doesn't matter though- it's only 3 short weeks until your FLOPbox 360 becomes EXTINCT!

would try to interpret n00b's statement about the sony brick literally...
I'm not so sure gamers will want to hang out in Home. but hey maybe it will be great; then no doubt MS will come up with something similar. don't get too cokky tho, sony fanboys. as if sony don't copy sh1t (*AHEM* sixaxis!).
@juuken:
"Bzone...that was just the beginning"
not according to most of the comments I was reading from the sony fanboys just before MGS4's release...
"At the install of the game it clearly says "this game was intended for use ONLY on the playstation 3" "
nice argument, stupid. that means they don't want consumers to try and sue them saying the disc destroyed their dvd player when they tried to put it in. it's just risk mgmt. that particular phrase isn't an affirmation of PS3 exclusivity, d1psh1t.
KBDuB, I wholeheartedly agree(I used assassin's creed as my example in another article).
so a PS3 developer uses 360 games as a model for how a good control scheme works? thanks for the compliment, I love my 360 controls! there's a reason the 360 controller won multiple design awards.
there are droids here trying to pretend EDGE is in MS's pocket. but if EDGE likes Haze.... d@mmit, you're ruining the plan!
why not, juuken? it worked for sony.
no way, Sir_Ken_Kooch-rag is the worst. what a tool. Dark Sniper is at least amusing (if misguided) ; ]
PS3 is the 1 that is only just now, FINALLY, starting to amass a worthwhile library.
also, the only 1 that "sux in [your] point" is your boyfriend, if u know what I mean ; )
IMO it's killzone2 that looks just okay. Gears is stylistic. killzone2 is bland.
from what I've seen so far, that is...just sayin...I'm sure I've missed some of the images/videos for both but I don't really like killzone2's style (or lack thereof).
I've commented as such elsewhere but I feel the need to remind some of the sony kids when they start trashing 360...
but why would EGM announce a PS3 character but not 360, if 360 were even getting an additional character? I hope I'm wrong, of course...
especially when they make stup1d predictions with a straight face "MGS4 will sale 7-8 million lifetime and 3 million just in its first week." also when they act all self-righteous now that they've finally got their ONE triple-A title...
sorry but the killzone images/videos I've seen so far are okay but not great IMO, I'm not a huge fan of that style - which is a sort of hyper-realistic lack of style. kind of like how team ninja's stuff needs an overhaul, that clean hi-res style but lacking surface textures doesn't cut it anymore. don't get me wrong killzone's got a LOT more texturing but I think it suffers a little from a similar blandness.
the explosion in the last shot shows some cool graphics blurring, I wa...
shocking, I know, coming from a website called the Sarcastic Gamer.
because all I saw was a page full of REALLY BAD writing. while scrolling down an ugly, poorly-designed website.
and don't even get me started on that hideous smiley (well ok, frowney) logo with a words-mullet stretched across its forehead. yes, I know they're supposed to be headphones. that's not what they look like - not even close. The only thing it looks close to is fugly.
personally I agree that this move makes MS look a little... nervous, don't know if I'd call it desperate. but Snipe, why merely trade one install base for another of similar size? so arguing PS3 exclusivity sounds rather silly to me. maybe extending to both our fave consoles, but not just switching to the other. also with 360 being the NA-centric box that it is, and halo being one of the more 'western' series available... well it'd cost more $ to have halo stay exclusive to sony if there...
