in fact, I'd argue sony almost did fall hard in 2005-2006. if u recall, they had to transform themselves like ninty has. not nearly as drastic; but they sure did have to lose their initial c0ckiness, didn't they?

I still think gamecube controller was best. same basic layout as MS but the 'face' buttons each feel distinct, helps me remember what I'm pressing.

didn't think Shep was too serious-faced all the time; but did always end up using the hawk-nosed bleached-blonde face preset because IMO it's the only one that fits the nasal voice of the actor. the female voice actress was also ok but even harder to fit to a matching mug. please give me more customization options, BioWare!

agreed, the dialogue was prob the most-lacking thing from an awesome game overall. I've said it before, but this is why u almost can't overrate Mass Effect. shining example of a game with almost zero corny dialogue. what other game has done this??
I still think The Darkness was a pretty d@mn good game, as far as the voice acting.
but didn't Obsidian also do KOTOR II? that game was a bit of a let-down IMO...
pokemon aint worth playin without dupe TMs IMO. and yes gold/silver has a (much more tedious) item/pokemon dupe trick.
original KOTOR also has an item dupe trick which is great since I think ordinarily u can't even get enough credits to buy all the most b@d@ss equip in the game.

I only bring up ninty to make the point that the former heavyweight champ took a hard fall once, same could happen to sony. gaming relies heavily on tech which can change quickly, leaving some behind in the dust. didn't mean to single u out tho, guess I spent too much time in open zone...
