not that any1 cares, but I made it to ~50th worldwide weekly ranking on... Prey, my 1st online shooter. and I played #1 ranked 'HavokXuk' twice and got 1 less kill than him both times. of course, it was easier to rise the ranks of a minor game like Prey. orig gears I only made it to the top 10% I think.

whatever. this guy thinks the storytelling in Dragon Age: Origins was top-notch?? I stopped reading when I got to that part.
@ThanatosDMC "MARIA!!!" lol. actually that part came across okay IMO; or at least better than I was expecting from gears2. the parts that bothered me were the little 'non-story' in-game bits of dialogue from Dom immediately following that climax. he just goes back to chirping his stupid sidekick BS like nothing happened, for the most part....

I disagree. lately I hesitate to complete the optional sex/race questions on applications out of fear of my white male status hurting me. companies make it a point to be diverse, ever in fear of the almighty lawsuit.
and yet oblivion was an addictive game. fallout 3 improved significantly upon the worst part - the disconnect between properly leveling up and actually playing thru the game. it's true that some problems carried over, but still fallout 3 deserves the great reviews it got.

yes!! while u can tell the lighting especially was improved in gears 2, I def prefer the aesthetic and multiplayer of orig gears as well (except maybe lancer-ing tickers in the dark in gears 2, that strobe-light gunfire effect looked pretty d@mn cool).
don't know what's up with those disagrees, mp troubles are a valid concern. I traded gears 2 back shortly after launch, because of the broken mp.
I own only a 360 by the way and played the sh1t out of orig gears.

I'm guilty of mostly NES bad ones, b4 I learned better. more recently: ...um, I guess I've played thru most of the 3D mortal kombat games. even *shudder* MK armageddon.
saints row 1 was a litt ruff but at least it, like GTA4, had some really killer AWESOME tunes. in fact I've downloaded a bunch of em thru iTunes - Likwit Junkies, several Wu Tang artists, etc.

for now, can't get enough stylized monochrome-y goodness if u ask me. that 1st area in Dark Sector really impressed me. but I suppose if the effect gets overused we'll get tired of it... monochrome = the new 'bullet time'?
