Manager of my local best buy said he hadnt even heard of the GC adapter but they have about 15 GC controllers in stock. I asked him how am I supposed to connect it to the Wii U without the adapter and he said, "it doesnt already have a plug in it like the Wii?". I almost punched him in his ignorant face.

Do your research moron. Wii U is much more powerful than XB 360 or PS3. Just slightly less powerful than XB1 and PS4. Any number of web searches will show you this.

My point is that I would like to see developers go back to focusing on the deep aspects of single player campaign and depth of story rather than do it lackluster and focus mainly on the multiplayer aspects of a game. This game seems to have the stage set for both to be great. Something a lot of FPS games lack these days.
This game would definitely be welcome but needs to be better than 6. The competition is starting to pick up in the racing genre.
The added stress of millions of new consoles on the network is what has made games have online issues. Some people are reporting issues durring campaign. That has nothing to do with the network. Other than it being a special power up or add on to the suit I feel it would make the game almost silly. You gotta be able to open doors, grab things, operate controls in her ship, pick your dam nose, and other useful things that only hands can do. So no, two cannons all the time would be ridiculous. This has the potential of being super sweet. I would love to see a Campaign that involves intense monster fights like I have seen so far and a Co Op option. Developers are starting to leard that a large amount of people want at least some campaign or single player / Co Op mode instead of always online competitive multiplayer. Hopefully this game has both in spades.
