Hopefully there will be ports of 1 & 2 to tie people over until the 3rd is ready, plus the sales generated from those ports will likely be greater than the Wii U versions, funding Bayonetta 3, with profits left over for more Platinum Games titles for Switch.
Hopefully versions of Bayonetta 1 & 2 running at 1080p 60FPS in docked mode will make their way over either this year or early 2018, with a 3rd game in the series coming late 2018 or sometime in 2019.
Sign me up for a Switch version of Wonderful 101 as well.
Port every cool Wii U exclusive over, the sales will help Nintendo fund even more new games for Switch.
Definitely!!
The resources and time required for porting games over, optimizing for better performance, improving controls where required and adding additional content is very light compared to making new games.
There's no reason to not do it, considering it wouldn't really delay new games coming, plus the profits generated could likely pay for a bunch of new games.
You only have to look at the sales of something like Mario Kart 8 to realize how mu...
Not really, who has the better deals depends on who you buy your sub from.
It isn't true that Plus has been lagging behind GWG, it's a subjective point, for the length of time both companies have been running their services side by side the general consensus has been that Plus has had the better content and Sony have been running the IGC for years longer than Microsoft have been running GWG.
No one should argue either service is faultless for providing content that w...
Well after Mario there will be Xenoblade 2, Yoshi, Kirby, probably a new Smash or a deluxe version of the Wii U game, with extra content, plus the first mainline console version of Pokemon, Fire Emblem and Metroid Prime 4.
That's a lot to be excited for, coming to the platform.
1st Party isn't something that people need to worry about with Nintendo or Switch, 3rd Party multiplats from Western Publishers sure those seem to be pretty light atm, maybe that'...
So he moans about the price of PS+, I bet he doesn't bother writing about reduced price offers for it.
Sony just had their E3 promos and plus was 25% off in the UK, I'm pretty sure they've had similar offers in other countries or you know you can also look for other retail offers and get extra PSN money from them, they do give extra when you top up your account wallet at certain times through the year.
Hopefully Ico will get the same treatment as Shadow of The Colossus, same goes for Demon's Souls, but both of those will likely be outsourced to Bluepoint Games as resources allow, unless Yoshida and company want both to hit PS4 for sure before PS5 comes out.
I also want to see what this mystery Japan Studio New IP is.
Another Puppeteer game or a 1080p 60FPS PS4 update of the PS4 game, with improved visuals and maybe some added content would be cool to see.
More like PS5 launch, assuming it releases in Fall 2019, but there has been a long running rumor about a massive new IP, an action RPG, with a style reminiscent of Final Fantasy only more targeted towards a global audience.
It's possible a 3rd Gravity Rush game could be release ready in 2 and a bit years if the game was given a larger pool of resources, so that could launch in 2019.
Japan Studio tends to have far quicker turn around times than many of the count...
It all depends on whether Nintendo can produce enough to meet demand, but sales figures seem to be holding steady at Switch outselling Xbox One by a little over 2 to 1 each week since launch, some weeks it's been 3 to 1, perhaps where major multiplats release Xbox One may level peg with Switch or if Switch stock isn't as available it will get beaten.
Seems pretty likely Nintendo could sell about 10 Million Switch system's by December 31st 2017, Xbox could maybe ...
It always makes me laugh when people talk about stock availability of a gaming device in their region trying to point to that as a factor in the global picture, like one small region affects the whole and they also don't even mention the country or State/County they live in.
Personally I come from the UK and stock is constantly sold out, local Tescos, Amazon and everywhere in my County (Surrey) is sold out shortly after getting restocked.
I was certai...
And Sony have Knack, Driveclub, The Order, Bloodborne, Until Dawn, Tearaway, Gravity Rush, The Last Guardian, Horizon, Ni-Oh, Days Gone, Dreams, Detroit and The Last of Us, most of which have either only had a single entry released so far or they have one incoming.
Gravity Rush, Knack and The Last of Us are either only just getting sequels soon or had one new entry in their series after years of quiet.
Technically Tearaway has also only had one mainline console release.
The thing is that the fundamental thing that makes a Zombie game a Zombie game is the Dead Creature that wants to eat your character's brain and living flesh.
If you're going to simplify the way you view these kinds of games you may as well not even shine a light on the Zombie factor and just call it a Suspenseful Horror Game or Fantasy Survival, say that having Humans, as enemies are no different to anything else and the added freedom of the game world doesn't matter.

When 2/3DS portable sales fall below a certain margin Nintendo would be wise to release an emulator to run their games on Switch. Given the gulf in hardware performance between Switch and the 2/3DSXL systems it should be very easy to get those games running, not just at the same resolutions as DS, but perhaps at native 720p or somewhere between DS resolutions and Switch's native screen resolution.
Obviously it all depends on cost from Nintendo's perspective, if they...
Very few games sell in that ballpark, actually 5 million is widely considered a great level of sales for games made with far bigger teams than Days Gone has had since it entered full production in early 2015.
Even Horizon has been greenlit for a continual franchise release schedule off the back of selling around 3 million units.
Whether games are considered hugely successful depends on the Publisher, size of the Development Team, lengh of development and marketing ...
I suppose I may give it a go if I build a new PC later this year or get it for XB1-S if I happen to get a decent deal on a bundle with a bunch of games on Black Friday this Fall, but it wouldn't be this game convincing me to buy an XB1 all by itself.
There seems to be no challenge to the gameplay, with players easily becoming overpowered.
Saints Row already does that in a fun way and Agents of Mayhem seems to be adding an interesting character swapping mechanis...
I just had a quick look at 1070's on Amazon, the Zotac mini is $399.99, if AMD gets a Vega model out that's in the 1070-1080 performance area, for $299 they'd be laughing. Hopefully they have enough stock to meet demand and retailers don't drive prices through the roor because of scarcity.
I thought this looked cool with the pre-E3 leaks, but the official game reveal at E3 2017 sold me on the game and with all of the games coming between Switch's launch, plus what's coming in the Fall I must get a Switch this year.
SM+R:KB is definitely a system seller IMO, but considering the other games on the system it's not the only one by the time this releases.
I think it's the Iron Man style suit, with it's weapons and movement through the world that seems exciting. Personally I thought it looked fun, want to see more to know whether I'll get it near launch.
I'm more excited for Metro Exodus.
The Founders Edition isn't gaming focused model of Vega, pretty sure that's coming late next month, wonder what the price will be for that? AMD has to remain at least price competitive, if not be much cheaper at similar performance to 1070, 1080, 1080ti and Titan XP.
@Chris12: It's clear F4ctory_Reset was pointing out that XB1-X has about the same percent difference to Pro as base PS4 has to XB1, hell the RAM performance of PS4 vs XB1's slow speed and small cache was a bigger factor relative to those devices.
3X the speed difference, yet the difference in games still depends on devs making use of it, hell PS4's GPU was also more efficient owing to the inclusion of more Compute Queues which allows devs to more easily maximize GPU Time....
