I want a remote but am not sure about cheap third party items. I don't get why Sony haven't released a patch in a system update to allow the PS4 to use the official PS3 remote? I can't be using my DS4 to fast forward and rewind blu-rays so I'm still using my PS3 for that.

@MegaRay. Of course I'd like PSN on PS4 to be free! But we've got to be realistic, an online multiplayer network requires massive infrastructure of hardware, servers, cables and programmers and this cost money. I am willing to pay if the service is good!

Polygon have a fuller understanding of the deal than Bethesda and Polygon are the ones explaining the deal to the public! It seems obvious that they are a Microsoft mouthpiece.
I believe Microsoft have made the Xbox One voice chat have less compressed sound from the 360, so it sounds slightly clearer than on the PS4, but I don't have the specs.
However one unique feature that the PS4 has which is advanced with is Share Play, where you can let your friend in another location take control of your game. So having used it, I have to say it does work really well.
It's a nice deal with great value but paying $399.99 is not the same as getting an Xbox One "effectively for $199.99." That would actually be where, for example, you pay $400 and get $200 cash back.
I'd have loved to see Diddy Kong Racing. But it was rumoured that Microsoft prevented Nintendo from releasing it on the Virtual Console so it be understandable that Nintendo wouldn't let MS release it either. Silly as the only people who miss out are gamers. They should come to some agreement so it can be released on both formats.
