If Pachter says it's bad then that tells me Sony know what they're doing!
A poorly written essay that lacks focus and quickly loses the reader’s interest because the writer lacks the talent or knowledge to tackle the subject with the skill required.
There are several references to ‘damsel tropes’ yet there is not a cohesion or logic to the arguments made, rather it is a laundry list of complaints. Whilst it’s possible to be critical of media that one does enjoy, there is an insincerity here, and more commonly the writer cannot conceal her disdain...
This is becoming a complete farce.
Microsoft is in a bit of a pickle. If non-gamers looking to buy a gift, or semi-gamers search the internet to find out about Crackdown 3 they will find many years worth of negative stories, so it makes sense to change the name to something that can't be connected to the bad press. A big shout out to @TheCobertinator who made a very good suggestion for a new name, however, I feel they would have more success with God of War 2 or Spider-Man 2.
Sadly they will probably opt...
Failed alt-girl pushing her pro promiscuous views.
Here's a couple of the lowlights:
'My Kassandra was a total dog and absolutely nailed the "Aye yo girl, lemme get yo numah" persona.'
'one really awkward, um, encounter with an older woman whose husband just couldn’t keep up.'
I remember watching a live PSX conference with Shuhei Yoshida present. Greg Miller started making a dedication to his friend Colin Moriarty for being a great friend and supporting him through his cancer battle, Miller began crying as he spoke. I watched and I thought 'that's friendship.'
Then Colin Moriarty made a joke. Greg hated the joke because he felt it was offensive to women. However I think Greg could have made clear that HE didn't like the joke but ...
DON'T PUT PLOT SPOILERS IN THE HEADLINE.
Not all gamers play a game at the time of release. Spoiling a plot point like this shows an entitlement that if a person hasn't completed a game when you have they are worth nothing - this is anti-gamer.
You should write the headline so it teases enough for people who have played the game - but DOESN'T SPOIL anything for people who haven't.
@SirJoJo I understand this is a subject close to your heart but before losing your temper make sure you properly read other's comments and not just make guesses about what they have said! It's not right to make unfounded accusations that a person is a liar, you indignantly used the word and didn't give an example! Likewise at no point did I say the game should be cancelled, I actually said more development time will make the game 'better'! Next time, if you're going t...
@Sitdown. Two games in development hell that eventually were released are The Last Guardian and Final Fantasy XV. They both have Metacritic scores of (approx) 80. Respectable, but not outstanding - however definitely a success.
There is a difference with Crackdown. Those games after being announced ‘went away’ and as the developers went back to the drawing board and started the games from scratch. The publishers then announced them when the V2 version was nearing completion...
Crackdown 3 was first shown at the Xbox One reveal as a game that showed what the console was capable of... 5 years later, countless E3 appearances and evidently there hasnt been much progress.
The problem has been that Microsoft pushed it as being more advanced than an ordinary game because of cloud compute, but likely the development is showing the gameplay is not next-gen. In a year of few exclusives that have not received universal praise MS is feeling the pressure to...
So the Nintendo Direct is going to be called Nintendo Direct? Stop the press!
A waste of article.
In case you're wondering why there is a big sale the week before E3, it's because the manufacturers are concerned that their business rivals will attract 'their' customers during the E3 conference. So the sale is a preemptive measure to keep gamers playing on Xbox.
@XbladeTeddy I've done the same thing! It might have been a Lego Super Heroes game which I preordered on Amazon then it turned up and I thought 'why not give it a try!'
"2 Million Players in Less Than Two Weeks" But what number bought a copy of the game?
When GamingBolt have to dig up PS1 & PS2 games you know Sony is doing something right.
The Assassin’s Creed Ezio series portray Christians and Christianity as very bad.
@TheCommentator. Your comment is less to do with talking about the story of Skull & Bones and more to do with being a cheerleader for Sea of Thieves and Microsoft. We all have our favourite consoles but this doesn't mean we shouldn't be able to step back from our own biases to analyse and criticise a topic with a balanced point of view.
What a terrible website, what terrible 'journalism!' Writing that a limited edition console has been 'discontinued' is the wrong terminology. That is normally used when there is a product with an open life cycle has come to an end. With a special edition console there is normally only ever one production of it only, so it is understood that there will be no more.
For a joke website to use this bit of info from Amazon shows they are amateurs. Honestly this s...
I'm sceptical when it comes to press releases but if Microsoft say that this will be their BIGGEST E3 SHOWING EVER then they are not likely talking about floor space because that would be a hoodwink, they are talking about announcements and megatons.
With an explicit claim like that there will be some big exclusives.
I don’t condone his behaviour, but I know many Fallout ‘76 players will share his disappointment. I reckon this clip will become a meme for any unhappy gamer!
Not nice for the staff trying to do their job - I hope he is arrested.
