I agree, too many great games that are not 1080p or 720p so resolution has nothing to do with it. I also agree that Insomniac are top of the line developers. However I don't agree about the resistance franchise being a top quality IP.

Just look at the sales for each console on a global scale. Japan, which has one of the largest populations in the world has sold very little PS3 compared to other regions. Hand helds dominate the Japanese market.

Well this is pretty obviouse. Of course GT6 is in development and naturally it won't be released for "several" years and will come out on the PS4. GT5 is not even a year old yet, I don't even know why Sony made such an early comment about GT6.

I agree Newleaf, but not so much on the marketing side of things.
Forza 2 was a great start for this gen. It was still an unheard of title with the likes of GT5 whispers in the air. Forza 2 sold 4.02 whish is pretty good for a title that is competing against the big GT name yet still pales in comparison sales wise. Forza had not secured itself within that genre yet popularity wise.

Gears runs off of the Unreal Engine and it's going to dominate in sales simply because many people don't share your lack luster opinion that unreal engine games are boring.
Also Batman AA and soon to be releaed Batman AC both run off of the Unreal Engine and while Batman AA was amazing, AC is most likely going to top it.
