Funny...I don't see too many 3rd party controller makers making PS3 like controllers for the 360. Yet I see plenty of 3rd party's making 360 controller clones for the PS3.

And the argument that the PS3 has many games that run on dedicated servers is beside the point. Point is that not ALL games run on dedicated servers on the PS3 and the PS's holy grail of games will be one of those.
It being a "beta" has nothing to do with my comment that is in response to Naughty Dog's comment that Uncharted 3's MP will not have dedicated servers.

Sony has always tried to push forward with new tech ideas dating back to batamax to pushing 3D into their titles.
Sony primarily being a hardware company, this is a no brainer as to why Sony continues to focus a lot of resources into R&D.
That being said, I do feel that Sony has fallen behind a bit when it comes to product and pricing. TV wise, Sony is no longer the #1 TV maker. Now edged out buy Sharp and Samsung.

But Halo has always been Microsoft's. Ever since MS bought Bungie Halo belonged to MS. Bungie were the developers, but MS still owned the IP. Halo has never been the property of Bungie since the first Halo game was released. It was MS's.

I can see them working on new projects for the next xbox. I predict a new Unreal Tourney on the new MS console. Right about now seems like the time to start thinking about what to do after Gears' franchise has been completed on the 360.
They have already shown off what their new engine will be able to do, and it can't be done on this gen consoles. I also expect a new IP for next gen using their new engine and will look as good as the demo.

Well I understand what Phil Spencer was saying. He is talking about Master Chief. Since Halo 3, ODST and Halo Reach were released that didn't focus on their main flag ship character....that being Master Chief.

For the last 5 years, all I have read, month in and month out....X year is the year of the PS3 and the PS3 is going to pass the 360 in sales. And 5 years later...360 is still in the lead and am still hearing that the PS3 is going to pass the 360.

The argument is about exclusives and you bring in a multiplat and say "You get the point". No Caffo01, no I don't get the point. Despite what the small MW haters think on this site, MW is a good franchise as can be seen by the sales. The only ones that hate on MW are the Sony fanboys who are upset that MW on the PS3 sells higher than their precious exclusives like the KZ's and Resistance's.

I don't agree. BC1 was a great single player game but the online was not balanced properly. I would shoot them with a grenade launcher right at their feet and even after the explosion, they just turned around and would shoot me in the face.
BC2 offered Hardcore mode which is perfect and the only way I play BC2. So perfect that I am a bit upset that they have changed the classes around and their responsibilities. Having each class specialize in something that helps the...
I have been gaming since Intellivision and collecovision days and this gen has been my personal favorite gen so far.
Games are huge with great story telling. Great immersible environments and levels. Graphics unseen before on previous consoles and hardware that allows for extreme gaming comfort (360 controller) and new ways of experiencing games using motion controls (move, kinect and Wii-motes).
