No, the speculation is that the 500K is including the free 360's. That is speculation until proof is given.
I don't see what the issue is though. Sony have been giving away free PS3 if you sign on with Rogers for a shared smart phone plan.

I am sorry but sales is a tool used to measure demand for a product. If demand is there, then so will the sales. Now that doesn't mean that Uncharted 2 is a bad game just because out of 50 million PS3 owners, only 4 million bought the game even though it's the highest rated exclusive game. I think the reason why certain people on this site care about sales, is so that when the other certain people make comments like:
" I don't care about sales. , I'm a gamer, I want games"
They can say, well even without Exclusive games, the console is selling better than the PS3 and Wii thus countering any argument from a certain kind of people that it it's the quality of the exclusives, not the quantity....
Pre-orders show initial demand. It shows Interest in the market for that IP and allows the developers to get an idea how in demand that game is by simply looking at the pre-orders.
Pre-orders play a big part with developers. It's a measuring tool. Gives insight to how a game may end up selling. But you are somewhat right, not all high pre-orders result in a high selling game...such as KZ2. Over 1 million pe-orders and yet KZ2 only sold 2.66 million.
1. Using stats that were conducted using a sample base of ONLY 5000 console owners where there is ZERO proof that each voter was an actual 360 owner by Game Informer is pathetic at best. I agree with you in terms of how talented Carmak is. However, Rage is coming out 2 years after Borderlands and Fallout. That's a lot of extra time devoted into RAGE. I loved Borderlands and still do and am greatly anticipating Borderlands 2.

No. It was other online community services that where hackeed by hackers where they obtained the users account information. Then, they just logged into XBL using the username and passwords.
XBL was not hacked. User info was attained OUTSIDE of XBL in other community online services.
For example, If I hack into your facebook account and get your XBL username and password, then log into your XBL account with that information, XBL wasn't hacked.

You are out of your mind if you think forza doesn't offer as much as GT5 does. Forza offers MORE than GT5 does offline and ESPECIALLY Online such as the auction house where you can sell your cars, designs, mechanical layouts as well as community game modes and now car clubs. The list goes on.
I have both GT5 and Forza 3 and Forza 4 will have everything Forza 3 has and more. You are only fooling yourself.

What are you talking about? It's a wireless wheel. It's the same as a regular wheel that has a cord but instead this is a wireless one. What does Kinect have to do with this? It's basically just a controller like any gaming controller except it removes the analog sticks and you just turn the peripheral like a wheel, hence why it's a wireless wheel. It doesn't even use Kinect.

Forza is truly the new king of sim racing. It just simply amazes me that Forza 4 will be the 3rd Forza game this gen and the game just keeps getting better and better feature wise and graphic wise.

Every car in Forza 3 and Forza 4 will have interior views. There is no reason to believe some interior views will have less detail than others. It will all come down to the look of the dash in each individual car. The more higher end cars will have much more going on with the dash than say the lower end cars.
