iPads and other tablets have a lot of business/academic related functions and are portable.
This is pointless. My most anticipated games will be the one releasing on Next-gen systems this year.....and GTA5....and maybe Bioshock Infinite. But most new releases seem like paying $60 for last-gen games.

Made the mistake of getting Far Cry 3 on 360 due to it having my preferred controller. Live Gold expired on the 25th and can't bring myself to renew it. Never again, making that mistake. If the game isn't entirely based on SP, it's being bought on PS3.

Nintendo systems always had good games coming, the problem is there's never enough good games released each year due to terrible 3rd party support.
Getting rid of used games will decrease new game sales. I almost never buy a new game without trading in a old one. A lot of games just aren't worth keeping. If I can't sell trade in PS4 I'll end up buying less games, or I'll just get a system that allows me for a used games market.

My Gold account expired December 2012, haven't renewed it and don't plan too. Not having a gold account makes my 360 seem worthless now though, like a car missing an integral part that isn't worth fixing.
I may even sell my 360 as I'm starting to really appreciate my PS3 lately. Looks like all my future multiplats will be on PS3 for the foreseeable future, which is OK cause all my friends switched over to PS3-only a while ago for the free online anyways.
I don't want HD 60FPS versions of current gen games, I want next-gen.
Don't get me wrong, PC games look great but leaps in graphics are dictated by console generations. Currently, PC mostly gets ports of console games as most of the profit from AAA is from consoles.

I hope there are two million satisfied gamers then. Wii U is not for me, as my gaming tastes are more in the 3rd party/Sony/MS exclusive category but satisfied gamers are a good thing.
Whatever the content of the game, no one looks particularly manly playing videogames for recreation. Not saying it's immature, just a fun largely meaningless hobby.
