GTA 3 without a doubt. By the end of the gen it wasn't the best game, but the first time I played it it felt revolutionary.

Based on what I've seen from Unreal, Id, CryEngine, and Frostbite I pick Frostbite for the destruction first and large open environments second.

Wii was Nintendo's one major home console success in the past 3 gens.
The way Wii U sales are going, it looks like Nintendo is back to normal appealing only to the Nintendo hardcore fans making Nintendo 1 for 4.

My launch PS2 still works. I had 5 360s.
PS2 allowed people to play games past their teens without being criticized socially. Which is essentially what Wii did but in an opposite way.
PS2 made gaming a valid adult past time then Wii made gaming accessible to adults that don't play games. It was a perfect 1-2 combo.
Next-gen will be the knock out punch, question is who's throwing it.
The average core gamer is over 30 years old.

Nintendo is positioned to have only 1 hit console in 4 generations, maybe they should start befriending gamers again.
Consoles the first 3 years after the start of a new gen, PC after and until the next-gen of consoles starts.

Although I'm writing this on an iPhone...Apple can go to hell. It's about free speech. Apple has fallen off, I'm going Google next phone, all of my favourite Apps are better on it (maps, chrome, google calendar, gmail), a far better OS and it has better phones.
The company that once led has fallen too far behind in every regard.

Sony adverts this gen have been the worst in playstation's history. The best advertisements came from 3rd parties.
It would have a huge advantage if PC games were optimized for Steam hardware.

I'll get PS4 if the 2 consoles have the same power and PSN remains free. I preferred my 360 this gen by a hair but I can't bring myself to pay for Live anymore.
My total Live cost this gen was approximately $300. When I think of it that way, I'd be a fool to pay to play online next-gen.
There needs to be better integration between Live/PSN games and mobile. If you buy it on Live/PSN you should get a code to DL the game on mobile.
I'd love to be able to play the Walking Dead on mobile too but I'm not buying the same game again.
The game runs terribly on my 360 with ample tearing and poor framerates; however, the gameplay is amazing. I have it installed and it's a 360 slim.
Definitely worth buying imo.
