I think we all know Wii U does not have next-gen hardware.

My problem is how his voice acting changed. I know it's the same actor but in the first 2 games he had a controlled rage that bubbled up at times, now he just yells everything and it feels forced.

399.99 is my max. I don't really care though, I'm waiting for the second batch anyways - being an early adopter has never gone well for me.

Summer is the worst time for good game releases. Almost every year there's nothing. If a developer released a even decent big buget game during the summer I'd buy it in a second.

I find summer is the only time I get excited for PSN/Arcade games, and that's because there's nothing...absolutely nothing from June - August, well sometimes the last week of August has something but by then I'm too excited for what's coming in September and October.

They can't, at least initially - it would cut their game sales in half. Activision sells over 10 million copies of COD alone on Sony's system. It would be a huge risk for publishers to suddenly stop supporting Playstation 4 at the start of the gen.

If anything maybe they'll price PS4 games higher in hope of providing incentive for new console buyers to get an Xbox instead then over time if Sony lacked the install base, stop supporting it.

If MS was going to stop Playstation their best bet was this gen, next-gen I don't think they'll match Sony unless online MP is free.

However, Sony might stop Sony and playstation with it unless they turn things around, Sony should be more like Samsung.

So my friends and I can't lend each other games or bring them over to play at each others' houses? F'ing lame.

Steam games are worth it because they often can be had for fairly cheap, there's no way MS is going to forward any savings onto the consumer, they can't even provide cost free online MP, when every other gaming device in the world does.

More and more I'm looking towards PS4. It seems like it's trying to appeal towards ga...

I agree with a lot of that list but I don't think game controls should be overly simplified. The best games have great gameplay and great story - for me both are necessary.

A lot worse, it's so blurry.

At the peak of the gen I used to buy 10-12 games a year for $60, but that was because I could trade in old ones (for some reason I never buy used)

If I can't trade in games, I'm just going to buy a lot less new ones.

Unless MS has free online or more power, its going to have a bad time next-gen

Keep your old consoles, let MS/Sony spend the money on more power, bigger HD, better build quality, etc.

For people who don't own the old console - too bad.

No it shouldn't.

Sony should spend the money they would spend on BC on more power, better build quality, bigger HD, etc.

Gamers should keep their PS3s for the odd time they feel like playing last gen games.

I have Far Cry 3 and agree it's one of the best in the gen I never said otherwise, but it did not make a MAJOR splash sales-wise.

A game that good should have sold a lot more, but I think a lot of people couldn't stomach the frequent screen tearing and frame rate drops - it was too much for current consoles.

My point is if a game as good as Far Cry 3 couldn't crash the charts, then what hope does generic shooter Fuse have.

I had no idea Wii U was doing that badly, it's not even close to PS3/360, what will it do when PS4/NeXbox release.

Nintendo needs some heavy hitters but even with it's big games, I feel Wii U will be more of a Gamecube than Wii in terms of sales

The casuals were unreliable and moved on to iOS/Android games. They're cheaper and often just as fun to them.

If PS4 isn't revealed on the 20th I will be utterly disappointed.

I'm not expecting a "full" reveal but maybe a game or two, system design, specs and controller and perhaps some new features.

I'm 100% sure price won't be revealed.

When the first impression of a shooter is reminiscent of the failure Haze, you know the games in trouble.

I don't think it's a good idea to introduce a new shooter IP at the end of a gen defined by an over-saturation of shooters. A lot of great shooters failed to make a major splash, Far Cry 3 for example.

Insomniac would have to do something incredibly innovative to generate adequate excitement, and with current gen hardware, that's almost impossible as the systems couldn't properly handle it.

As a former Live Gold member I'd argue that 360 gamers pay more, If you buy 6 games a year add 10 bucks to the price of each game in Live Costs.

If you buy 12 add $5 per games, etc.

Smartest gaming related thing I did all gen was not renewing my Live subscription last December, although, I haven't really used my 360 since...it seems boring now, almost depressing.

Crytek said that about Crysis 3 and it looks like vaseline exploded all over my TV.
